Hi everyone, Im just wondering what are the reasons you provided on the Advance Parole form? I skipped that one cuz I thought it was too complicated. But now I need to apply for one. It says it should be for "humanitarian" reasons only.

Don't panic! It took our case 13 days to go from "in transit" to "ready" at the embassy. Keep in mind that your petition is most likely already at the embassy. The staff simply need to process it.

Sure. Use the CEAC immigrant visa status check. You can also contact the embassy after 1 week has passed to see if they've received it yet.

Good day All! My fiance just called NVC and we now have a reference number! May I ask how to check if the USEM already received the package? Can I continue on the DS-160 now It was all so sudden! We agreed not to talk about it much to avoid stressing on waiting and now it just happened! waaaaa!!

What is the date of your RFE? It will take about a week before you receive the actual mail. I guess you can't do anything yet unless you receive the actual mail.

Status of our i-129f package has just been changed to APPROVED!! Hooray! It took 28 days from noa1 date!

Have you received the actual mail? There's specific intructions there for u to follow. Do not panic. As long as you send what they asked for, there should be no problem.

Yes, we did, from different stores but that are located in the same town, from both of us.

There's a possibility that it's just a random thingy. Like maybe they just needed some number of cases that went through rfe. But will end up approved. There are a lot of RFEs issued last week. Which is kind of unusual dont you think?

We sent the response to the RFE this morning. We got the letter on Friday and they wanted more proofs that we had met in person within the last 2 years, which makes no sense. We sent in the original package passport stamps, boarding passes, photos, etc. So we just sent the same documents and added a few receipts from both.

Btw, the letter said that they don't want copies of emails, texts, skype conversations, phone calls, etc. They don't count as proof.

Hi Gray Cat, I hope it turns out well for you and no further delays. Did u send a credit card statements showing payments made on the beenficiary's country? I heard they are excellent proofs.

Thanks, it was a big sigh of relief, we are just planning ahead for when I can travel to the Philippines once everything is approved now...I know there could be a long wait but we enjoy thinking and planning for now.

Just received notification that our application has been approved yesterday! 21 days. Amazing.

I have been tracking cases that were delivered to USCIS on the 29th September and they approved the first one yesterday!!! The wait is almost over....

Hi everyone! I just saw a filer with a NOA1 dated Sept 27 which was approved yesterday October 21! OMG! We are almost there!

So a question. Looking ahead - once NVC forwards the case to the embassy, can my fiancee contact the embassy after 1 week to see if they received it and schedule an interview asap? Or does she have to wait to receive her packet with instructions from the embassy?

Hi, it is okay to call them to know if they received it but i don't you could schedule an interview when your fiance do not have the packet yet since the instructions are there. Hope this helps!
