Has anyone on here gotten their green card and decide to pursue their degree?
I was going to get my degree in England and then moved to Indiana, I looked online to start my degree and I'm being told I'm going to get incredibly limited federal aid. Does anyone have any experience with this?

It currently says "your case was approved". I know I'm worrying over nothing, I'm just so ready to get my life started.
Thank you for your reply

So I had a whole world of issues with my application, from beginning to end.
Firstly, they lost my work permit so I never received approval to work.
Then I didn't hear anything for months after my biometrics.
I was then called up for an interview but never received the letter as the post office lost my letter.
Got a denial letter, went up to USCIS and they said they'd re-open the case and to wait 30 days for a new interview.
Waited 30 days called USCIS and they told us the case was never opened. So we went to our local office the next day and we're interviewed there and then (turns out only needed the interview because they forgot to get me to sign a piece of paper at the biometrics!)
Got approved on that day and told green card takes 5 days to arrive! Officer then called and said I needed a medical, told him mine was valid for two years and he said it should override what the system wanted.
My app then changed to case approved. However I feel as though it is supposed to say "card processing".
Basically I want to know how long it took people for their cards to arrive and when I should start questioning if it's late?

Hi, I'm just wondering if you were able to get student loans with your green card?
