Hey guys i have a question, i filed for aos on feb 21, sometime in march i got a rfe, i mailed it in and my case was changed to ready for an interview on april 17. I also sent in the ead with my aos, i have still not heard back from that . I called the uscis and they said since i got a rfe my ead starts from the beginning and wouldnt submit a service request. 

Is this true? Am i going to have to wait 3 more months! Cause im seeing a lot of people that had rfe get their ead cards already

My aos was update to ready for interview on april 17, i have still not received anything in the mail. Should i call? Does it usually take this long?

Hi everyone. My husband's EAD came in the mail today!! Yay! It is only good for one year though, and since it took 3 months to get, does this mean we need to apply for a new one around 3 months before this one expires? Also, when he finally gets a green card, he will still need the EAD card right? I guess I'm just trying to understand what happens next, because renewing the EAD every year will be a pain. Thanks! 

When did you file for the EAD? Cause mine was received feburary 21 and still nothing!

Hey everyone, i just checked my case online and it says case ready for interview! Anyone have a timeline from that to when the interview will be? 

I filed on feburary 17

received noa1 march 6

but, it says my case is at the  National Benefits Center , and my case number starts with msc.

I went to check my cases online but it said invalid!

do you know the processing times for i485 at the national benefits center?

Hi, my husband and i are currently filing for my AOS, but he does not make the fiances to support me. His mom is going to be our affidavit of support, does my husband need to file a form as well? Or just her?

Hi, I came to the US under a k1 visa, which expires march 23, 2017. My fiance and I are getting married feb 12, I just have a few questions before I mail our application in.

1) When submitting the form, do I have to send in evidence of our relationship, or just a copy of our marriage certificate? 

2) Im also filling out work authorization with it, I have to submit both fees, correct? the 1140, 85 for biometric, and 410 for EAD? I read that I wouldnt have to pay the EAD fee if I file them together, but I am not sure.

Okay thank you! I feel like its taking soo long, the embassy emailed saying aramex will contact me soon, but my passport hasnt left the embassy yet.

I had my interview in the embassy in egypt on december 8 and my fiance attended with me. Pretty simple asked a couple questions and said congrats its approved! So i checked online a couple days later, and it went into AP for one day and on december 13 it said issued. Im just worried as to why i havent received my passport yet! it says my passports hasnt even left the embassy yet.

Does anyone know how long this usually takes?

Hi, so i received an email from the embassy in cairo stating the documents i need to mail them before i can make an appt. im a little confused tho, so i mail in the medical or bring that in with me for the interview.

Also it stated this:

Bring two copies of the printed confirmation of address registration to the visa interview. Passports for all of the people included in the immigration case must be registered, and the printed confirmation must include information for every person and his or her passport. If the confirmation page(s) are not brought to the Embassy on the day of the interview or do not include information related to all of the people and passports, your interview will be rescheduled.

Where do i print this confirmation out?

Im not even sure what that is.

My case was forwarded to Egypt from the nvc and, yesterday my case was ready. I went on us travel docs to make an appt, but once i got to the case id page, it says no public record has been found on the case. Also how do I get the cgi reference number to pay for visa fee, it hasnt come up while i was filing for the appt, is it after I add the case id number?

Hi guys, my approved k1 visa was sent to the nvc and my fiance called on october 13 and they were able to give him a case number.. Ive been checking the case everyday online and it says "at nvc" for the past week now. What does that mean and how long will my case stay at the nvc. Thank you

My case has arrived on the nvc, and my fiance called for a case number and they gave it to him. I checked online and it says "at nvc" and it says must follow 6 steps and pay fees.. Is this normal? What fees and steps are they talking about?

Did you forget to Include the letters of intent and proof or did you submit poor or incorrect information? Your response to what the RFE was for was not clear on what the actual RFE request stated and asked for.

Please clarify.

wow you missed alot maybe thats why its taking long , ull prob see a update monday or next week , usually from what i seen if its just one thing they update it fast

Maybe is as stated they failed to update receipt

It was my letter for intent to marry, which I wrote and signed

proof that we have met in person.. I sent in my visa and i-94 proving I was in the US, my plane ticket and I also included a time line of our relationship while I was there

and the g-325 a form that we both filled out and signed

Mine updated the same day received. Did he mail the blue form with the documents requested??

Yea, I made sure he put that first as well as a cover sheet explaining what was sent.

I got my NOA1 on July 5 and on August 26 we got a rfe. The following week my fiance had mailed everything out via USPS express mail. Now its been over a week and my case hasn't been update that they received the rfe. How long do they usually take before updating the case? Do they usually update it? I don't know if I should be worried that it got lost in the mail.
