  1. The approval notice of my I-765 says"

"Your application for employment authorization has been approved. The form I-766, Employment Authorization Document, was sent under separate cover to the beneficiary."

How long does it take to get the actual card (I-766) ?. The Notice Date of the approval is Sep. 22, someone has a similar case pending ?

I've read some people mention the status of the case changes to "card sent" or something like that. In my case, it just shows "Case approved". Does it mean the card hasn't been sent to me ?

  2. Today my case for I-765 (on day 74, I was ready to call tomorrow) was approved

"On September 22, 2016, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number MSCXXX. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

I didn't get a biometrics/fingerprint appointment. I called asking for the appointment a few weeks ago, and they told me to wait 30 days for a response, but today I saw that.

My question is, Does it means my case was approved ? If that is the case, how long will it take for the card to arrive usually ?

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

I forgot to mention that I'm under F1 visa status

  3. But nothing about "we sent you the instructions" blah blah "if you don't receive it before <DATE>, contact us at <PHONE NUMBER>"?

    It says

"On XXX we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number XXX. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

and the notice says "we will be sending you the appointment by mail bla bla",
