I am currently in the final stages of submitting the Green Card application. I am on a G4, and my wife is an American citizen. As a G4 I understand that you need to waive your diplomatic privileges. Both form I-508 and I-566 seem relevant for this. In I-508 you confirm that you waive all diplomatic rights. I-566 is in general for dependents of G4 visas applying for an employment authorisation, but it also seems to be required if you AOS from G4. Has anyone had any experience with this?
