I am currently in my 26th year of the immigration process and I am constantly messed around triple charged on filings.
Son and brother of American citizens, Father born in Europe he became an American; brother born in America.
1st application back in 1990-1993 was lost by the INS told to start again
2nd Application filed in 2003 I waited until 2012 got all the way through to the interview date then was told by an officer 'off the record; there is going to be no interview when you get to London suggest you do not go you will get automatic ban when you leave'.
So I cancelled my interview and not only was I meticulously careful to reactivate an interview within the one year time frame I also recorded myself and the officer cancelling; when I called back in an officer stated I never cancelled in time file deleted when I played the recording the officer became angry stating ok reactivated then hanged up on me; I then received some weeks later a letter stating file deleted. You will need to start process again file a new application new fees etc.
I complained and wrote like crazy for 4 years and got nowhere.
3rd Application filed in 2015 in 2016 I was asked if my Father was still alive due to a life threatening illness he had during my 2nd application I was asked to put him on the phone I stated he is not here I then receive a letter stating the DNA report proving my American Father is my Father they have on file is no longer active and has expired I need to pay and obtain another one my Father must accompany me to a DNA clinic of their choosing and he must provide identification.
I must also provide 2 witness affidavits such as nurses that were at my birth 50 years ago that will swear under oath my Father was present at my birth.
I must provide photographs of my father playing with me as a kid growing up showing he was part of my life.
I must provide school reports of when I was a child naming my father on the reports as addressed to.
I must provide court transcripts from 50 years ago stating my Father was responsible for child support.
I must provide proof my parents were married prior to my birth.
The list went on and on; this is beyond anything normal or sane so I need to file a complaint somewhere at an address that exists as the ones on line do not exist mail comes back.
Please no comments like I am lying or I am telling everything; believe it my file is beyond wacky
