Thank you for the help! I was informed today by the immigration services at my job that I can start both the GC application and the H1B at the same time.

I forgot to say above that my fiancée is US citizen

Hi,
I am planning on getting married soon and I am currently on a OPT F1-visa. I received my PhD in the US and I am currently working with an EAD authorization, which expires in May 2017. My employer is willing to take an H1B before my EAD expires. But since I will soon be able to apply for a green card through marriage, I am not sure what is the best way to proceed (or how exactly). My question is: if I apply for a green card through marriage in the next couple of months, will I still be able to work after my EAD (obtained from my OPT visa) expires? Do I have to apply (or can I) to another EAD to substitute mine while the green card is pending? I can't interrupt my job by any means...
Thanks!
What forms do I need??
in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas

Hi,
I just got married to a US citizen and I plan on applying for a GC asap. I am currently on a OPT F1-visa and my employer is starting to apply for an H1B for me. I was told by the immigration services at my job that they will take the H1B regardless of me applying for the GC (just in case). They also told me to apply for an EAD (mine from my OPT status will expire in May next year).
I believe I need to file the I-130 from my husband, the I-485 to adjust my status, and the I-765 for a new EAD. However, I don't know exactly what are the steps. Should I submit those three forms together? Do I have to send documentation as well (e.g. marriage certificate)? Are there any other forms needed? And do I need to submit an I-864 (both my husband and I have income in the US)?
Sorry for all the questions!! Thanks!
