  1. About 5-6 years ago, I (an American) applied for fiancee visa so my current wife could join me in the US. We got married soon after her arrival and we lived in the US for almost 2 years.

    But then because of a job offer I had at the time, it was a difficult decision to make but in the end we decided to move out of the US, and knowing that would reset our effort to get my wife a permanent residency in the US and would have to restart the procedures all over again if we decide to settle back in the US in the future.

    Recently, however, we received a letter 'Notice of Hearing in Removal Proceedings Immigration Court'. I am wondering what we are supposed to do about this?

    We thought we didn't need to do anything about it since we moved out of the US and I assumed that the visa /permanent residency process will be revoked. Is there something we need to do to inform the Immigration/DHS that we are no longer want to continue with the visa/permanent residency in the US?
