Yes you can file the I-485 alone without the EAD and AP. However, the fee will still be $1140 + $85 (biometrics). Might as well just get the EAD since it's free when file concurrently with the I-485 :)

Yep, if it is free, I think that would be better. I have read somewhere on here say that the fee for AOSEAD [ Biometrics ] is $1070, now I'm confused :( Can someone explain exactly how much? Will they return if I pay over?

  2. Hello Everyone,

I am preparing for my Aos, I have a question for the one of its parts is that "Copies of any approved in relation with your application K1 status",what does it mean? Is it the Form I129F approved and the Images to prove my marriage, and what else? ???

Could you guys please help me this part?

Hope to see your helping soon!

Not necessarily.  S/he might be glad to do so!   But there might be some nice people in the congregation who would be happy to do so,too.  Just tell the Pastor your story.   Are you truly that isolated in Wichita?  No gay book stores?  No gay bars where you could meet some new friends?

Yeah, We dont go to The Bar, so, you mean I can email to the Pastor and he can help us to find out someone who can be our Witness, right?

The original DS3025 that the agent took at POE will go to USCIS for your AOS.

If it was marked complete (which you don't know because you don't have a copy) then you don't need

to do anything. If it was not marked complete or waiver requested then you will receive a RFE and need to

see the civil surgeon. Nothing else for you to do now. It will meet up with you for AOS so no worries.

Thank for your nice answer! Thanks you so much. Previously, I was really worried and after seeing yours, I now come down! Thanks you!!!

Customs doesn't keep the DS3025. The form is given to you by the medical facility for you to keep for your records.  Do you have that?

The customs kept it. When I came to the Us, they asked me Where is my Immunization Record cause he hasn't seen it in my Package and a few minutes later, he found it and he told me that He kept it! I completed my vaccination in my country cause I chose to do that in Vietnam, not in Us, and I did it as well.

So, should I call to Uscis to ask them about my case?

  6. Hello everyone,

    My name is Grace,
I am preparing to apply for Adjustment of Status for my K1 Visa. I already vaccinated in my country and had the Immunization Record. However, it was kept by the US Customs when I came to the USA in Jan 16th. So, how can I do? Do I need to give the Immunization Record to the USCIS for my AOS? If yes, what can I do?

Hope to see your answer soon,

    Thanks you so much

    Best regards,

When I read it thought the same thing did he divorce to get to the interview date quicker in a different category. When was the petition filed?  when did they divorce?  And it only mentions his son, no stepson.

They divorced when he started his F11 case for nearly 10 years ago. And he is gonna prepare for begin the F2 visa for him and his ex-wife to bring her and son to here

If he has a step son.  I think its possible this was a genuine divorce.  His wife possibly married someone else had a child and is now single again...

No, my nephew is their son, he isnt his or her step son. They haven't got married after they divorced together, cause he wanna decrease the time when He can come to USA, so, they divorced. Actually, he still lives with her while waiting for time that he comes here

If he got his green card through marriage to a US resident then for 5 years he will face extreme scrutiny if he applies for his ex. If they don't believe him they may not only deny the petition but reexamine the method he got his own green card.

He got green card through my mother in law sponsorship (he came here with F11visa), I mean his mother and he waited for 10 years, he divorced with his wife and now he wanna get married again.

So, how do you think about this case?
