Just wanted to update my visa came 6 days after my interview. It also came very early around 7:55 AM - if any one else is expecting a DX delivery might be wise to be up and ready by 7:45 AM. Oh, and I also got an email from USvisa-info.com the day before to say it would be delivered the following day.

Good news I got my CR1 approved! Now I have another thing to worry about, my visa has been issued as I have just checked. But what if I miss the delivery? Will I be notified via text message a day before its arrival? Now I feel like I can't leave the house incase I miss a delivery!!

Any help appreciated!

Ok, so I am about to order an anniversary book for me and my wife and I'm a tad confused on who's name should go first...

For example, should it be:

1. Chris & Melissa Smith

2. Melissa & Chris Smith

For. London interview:

You need one passport photo and the size is 2x2 inch.

You are taking extra stuff that isn't needed (9, 11, 12) but take if you want to.

Regarding the photos they are two by two inches that's my typo. I realise there's there's a few things I am probably bringing that they won't even want to look at but make me feel more confident having them anyway.

So, given my list there's nothing else that I should bring?

I have an interview towards the end of the month and I was wondering what's allowed inside the embassy? I am planning on taking a small backpack and mobile phone, are these things allowed inside?

They only need originals of your documents (birth certificate, police certificate, etc). The interview is all about you.

If NVC wanted to check the validity of a birth certificate for the joint sponsor, for example, they would have done so. If you made to this stage, the photocopies were obviously accepted.

No, the entire AOS package is set from NVC to the embassy so they have that already.

Right ok, I ask because they only have photocopies of a lot of our documents. So I'm just trying to figure out what originals (if any) they want to see outside of what's been requested.

I have an interview this month in London for a CR1. I have 90% of my documents prepared, but just wanted to know if my sponsors and co-sponsors birth certificates are required when attending the embassy? It's not a requested document, but I thought I would ask here just incase.
