Hello...

I'm Brazilian.. and I live in different city but here in Mato Grosso took me 7 days...

I didn't get packet 3 ...they send me packet 4... and in my case they decided not to sent packet 3...

Translate???? On the instructions that I han on my hands it's sayng that we don't need to translate this document unless it's NOT in PORTUGUESE OR ENGLISH....

Before doing anything tell you wife to call RIO... I called them today to make sure about other questions.

Well, my case is a little bit different from yours... Mine is K-3... I thought something wrong was g oing on because I didn't receive packet 3... and this week I got packet 4!!! So I called the embassy and they said they decided not to send packet 3 ..and there's no need to send it... I just have to prepare packet 4. I don'k know if it applys to your case. I just want to post this here and tell our frieds from VJ that thhis might happen.

I hope you get news from embassy soon!!!

Hello SILK ROAD, HEALTHIUS, MAYA62 and dear friends from VJ...

Since they got my process in RIO I had my interview date. It's on November 21st.

YES! I don't need to send packet 3 ... I call them today... and there's no need to send packet 3. The lady was not able to tell me why. I just have to prepare packet 4 and go to the interview.

I'm relieved!!!! Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys!!!

I received a packet today by mail.. But i'm so confused... I thought I was going to get packet 3!

On the front page it's saying the date for the interview, the case number, preference category(K-3), my name, THEN "ENCL. : Packet 4." I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET PACKET 3!!!

On the second page it's juts repeting some information then says: FIRST; Fill out the forms DS 230 etc... Then... "SECOND; Have these documents ready, aplicable to your case BUT DON"T SEND TO THIS OFFICE." I thought I had to send packet 3 before packet 4.... Please anybody has any idea???

Does anybody have any idea to what is happening???? Is that right??? Should I ask for packet 3???

I'm wondering that too....

Our I-129 and I-130 were approved about the same time... My interview for I-129 is already schedulled here in Brazil for November. I'm glad for having my interview date for I-129..and I don't want to be here longer so far away from my husband.

Does anybody knows how long the I-130 takes to leave the NVC?

Thanks for you replies! Tommy called the immigration today ..I'm going to talk with him tonight to see what they said. I'm going to call the immigration here, in Brazil, to see if they got our process in Rio de Janeiro.

I'm Angela, from Brazil ... I'm married to Thomas, who is American. We submitted our K-3 and got approved in August 22. And TODAY Tommy got a letter and we got approved for the I-130.

I don't know if I should be happy or what...

My husband is going to call the immigration tomorrow to check what we should do.

But I came here to ask for help and advices... What we should do? Go on with K-3? Or choose I-130? can we still apply for both? I know I-130 will take longer.... I'm lost.

Would you give me some help???

Hi, everyone,

I just want to share that we got aproved! I checked our account on uscis web site and there it was; "This case has been approved." YES!!!!!!!!!

Now they will be sending the documents to Brazil...And wait until I schedule the interview. I hope each one of you get the K-3 approved soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am back from India and guess what in my 25 kg of mail I have got an approval letter dated July 31 and NVC letter dated August 10 !!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it ! Just talked to NVC and they sent it to embassy on August 11... !
