  1. Fantastic double news Chrisete!! Very happy for you :D

Emmylou, go to USPS and sign up to have your mail rerouted to your new house. It lasts a good few months before they stop rerouting mail from your own address. At least that way you'd not miss any important mail while you're waiting for USCIS to catch up.

Got my hard copy interview notice today. Almost half way through another week too ^.^

Are you in Washington state, Seattle?

  2. Hello friends,

we have got EAD and AP in nearly 65 days. Also the status for i 485 shows that we are being scheduled for interview. Can you tell ehat are the waiting times for seattle.

Secondly i got immense appreciation for visa journey community. They gave me information, when i knew nothing and held my hand during k1 visa..i was like walking in a black hole but my visa journey torch bearers were always around me...so a big thank you

I'm based in Seattle also, filed mid march, still no sign of an interview, USCIS website showing as of 30th June they were working on cases from January

  3. I hear ya. St Paul is our office. I'm wondering if the RFE put us back to the starting point when we got it sent back in July.

Can only go what my attorney team told me, which was it will add a small amount of time to the process, but nothing significant. I know the USCIS site updates around the 11th of each month in terms of Field offices and where they are at, really hoping for some new information soon.

  4. Again, any advice for us? We filed end of March, returned RFE July 8. AP and EAD approved July 18. AOS hasn't been updated since returned RFE. Should we try contacting USCIS or continue impatiently waiting? Does an infopass help speed up the process?

Where are you based? I am in the same position date wise give or take a day or two, it's very frustrating but it really depends where your Field office is, I'm in Seattle, have just passed the six month mark, but within the timeframe.

  5. Our local is also St Paul. We filed in March, RFE end of April, returned RFE July 8. Now we're stuck on "Response to USCIS' RFE was Received". Hopefully we all start hearing something soon! Best of luck!

Your situation is almost identical to myself, process starting to get really frustrating now though, given that timeframe from interview to interview a date is almost a month, really hoping to get home by the start of October.

  6. So I am trying to call USCIS to try and find out if my application has been moved from the National Benefits Center to my local field office. When I call it asks me for my receipt number which I assume is my MSC number (10 digit number), each time I enter the number it states that I have not entered the required number of numbers. Any way to bypass this and get through to someone,am I not entering the correct case number, i.e. should I have another number besides the MSC number?

  7. Gotcha, then definitely have to wait for the interview. But as I said before, there are a couple of people in the April filers thread with interview appointments. Also, I've seen other people around (can't remember which thread though, sorry) that has interviews scheduled but then they canceled it and they remain without another appointment date. Hopefully you get yours soon.

Hope so, this has definitely been the hardest stage. My attorney say we are still within the timeframe so would have to wait until October to query my case, though hopefully we will have heard a long time before then.
