  1. Just received my first update email!! They are requesting additional information but as far as I'm concerned it's progress! At least it wasn't a rejection so I'm pretty excited! Based on reading other time lines I was starting to thing that I would be hearing something soon. Kind of a bummer that they don't tell you in the email what additional information they are requesting, only that they mailed a letter requesting it. Hopefully I will have the letter within a week as I'm super excited that at least I heard something. Hopefully something quick and easy to provide as well.

To all of you still waiting, I totally understand, it seems like every day drags on and on when you're waiting for some news, any news. Stay strong and best of luck to all of you!

  2. Finally some news!

I sent i-129f on 20 December 2016, was received 27th December. Today, 15th April 2017 received an email notice that they mailed a letter, request for additional information. Kind of a bummer to get the notice in email but have to actually wait for the letter to see what it is they are asking for. However, not going to dampen my mood that we are making progress!!

  3. Greetings, I tried to search around for this one.... My question is, the address I am living at now is definitely not going to be the address that my fiancé and I (and her children) are going to live at. I am in the process of house hunting... Should I go ahead and submit the I-129f now with my current address to "get the ball rolling" or, assuming it's approved is it going to delay things even more when I have to change the address I listed on the I-129?

How difficult is it to make an address change after the 129 is submitted but before the K1 is submitted or approved?

Thank you for taking the time to read this!
