We've all made mistakes and looked over red flags in relationships, there's no reason to beat yourself up over it. All you can do now is deal with it, and spending money on a lawyer now may save you more $ in the long run.

Try to document all the things she's saying and demanding with dates and times, maybe in your phone so she's less likely to find it. Have you tried talking to someone at the consulate or wherever her application is being processed about what's happening? Even without knowing her side, this just doesn't seem right... good luck!

The instructions were confusing for me, and I had this same question. I watched several youtube videos where people walked through their i-129f packets and I felt more confident sending mine off. I included the number of photos they suggested for proof of a relationship, and they asked for additional evidence. Don't overdo it, but send them enough evidence so maybe they won't ask you for more in a few months. I applied in April, and my fiancee just was able to schedule his interview at the consulate for November 14. It's taking a lot longer than the 5 months that I read it would take. Calling USCIS with questions can be hit or miss; so many times the operators told me the USA never sends mail to Mexico, which of course isn't true. Well, good luck and be patient!
