The questions should be answered on the day of the oath but this needs to be done before you enter the waiting room. It does not have to be done in front an officer. Most people do it the night before assuming nothing is going to change between the night before and the oath. I waited till the last minute to full out my form and had to complete it before I was allow into the waiting room.

 

2. after the questions, it says  signed at - should be the address of the oath ceremony, on - Oath date and full address and Zip code - Full address of the Oath ceremony .

I used the city and sate of my oath ceremony for "signed at" because that's where I signed my form but it doesn't have to be the city and state of oath. Use the city and state where you singed the form if different from that of oath. Full address of oath is not required.

 

3.  all the end of the N-445 , i need to write down my address?

4. in naturalization certificate, can i sign my signature which i used in N-400 form ( same one i use for my bank and other purposes) or it has to be full name?

 

You need to sign the certificate exactly as your signature appears on or next to your photo on your naturalization certificate. If they asked you to sign a passport photo at your interview, they use this photo with your signature on your naturalization certificate. Otherwise, they'll use the signature you provided on your N-400. Either way you'll need to sign exactly as the signature appears on or next to the photo on your certificate. I signed mine like I do for checks - First initial over second initial over my last name.

i checked my online status and it says that I have been placed in queue for oath ceremony. Can I assume that my n400 has been approved by the IO? My n652 says decision will be mailed, and I haven't received any mail from Uscis yet. What do you think? Thanks

I need assistance. I would appreciate, if you guys please provide me some advise.

Situation- I went for my naturalization interview on 08/31. the IO gave me letter saying decision will be mailed to you. she said " there is one checking left from our end, you should be receiving your decision by a week or so." its been more than a month and I went for infopass two days ago. the person told me during the infopass " the case is still with the IO, that's all I can see in the system. I don't what checking is left. wait another month or so". I am very frustrated, since I have to visit abroad for an urgent family issues. what should I do?

1. just wait 120 days?

2. write a letter to the IO and make an enquiry. the form, I was given after the interview says I can write to the IO and I the person confirms me too during the infopass that I am ok to write to the IO. I am just wondering whether its going to effect negatively my case.

My interview is scheduled on 08/31. i applied under 3 years Marriage rules. however i have two questions, any help/advise would be highly appreciated. thanks in advance-

1. what supporting documents do i have to bring with me to prove our marriage is legit (Bona fide)

2. i was reading others interview experiences, and I am curious about N-652 FORM- Naturalization Interview result. i believe IO gives you this Form regardless you get approved or denied.

i have a question- anyone of you have due tax issue?

  we received a letter from Detroit Income Tax and asking that we did not file for Detroit local Tax for 2014. but our W2 say money was deducted. long story short, we are going pay them by check and send out supporting docs. my question is what should i bring with me to the interview? i am just worried that whether i could get any response or confirmation from them before my interview date? or do i have to mention about it during my interview?

any advise would be much appreciated. thanks.

For the N400, if the form you submitted has the OBM no. 1615-0052, then that's the one! Just submit it with the correct fee amount:

$640, add the $85 biometric fee for a total of $725. So $725 total (one single check for this total). It increased last December.

i just re checked my OBM number in N-400 form and its 1615-0052. i have already got my biometric done, therefore i agree with Hagrid said. thanks

so i was in same situation doubting whether to add the photos or not. its pretty confusing. however i ended up adding them. my logic was that there is no harm to add them just to be in safe side.

thanks for your answer. one more question to you - what is e notification ( form G1145)?? i am bit confused about it. USCIS website has the below information about it -

" If you are filing your Form N-400 at one of the USCIS Lockbox facilities, you may choose to receive an e-mail and/or text message notifying you that your application has been accepted.  You must complete Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, and clip it to the first page of your application."

That being said, the package should be cleanly organized and structured, so that it does not overwhelm the reviewer.

 

* A coversheet, listing content in order of attachments helps to make sure nothing you said you sent had been lost.

 

* You may want to list evidence per the above separation - financial and social -

 

* Attach the check at the front so they see it right away.

 

* Put your A# on all pieces of paper you send in.

thanks a lot for your answer. i truly appreciate that. i have one more question to ask- i live in michigan and visited Canada few time ( only for a day or two). do i have to mention that in N-400 form. the problem is - they dont stamp on passport while driving to canada, and i don't remember the exact day of my travel. please assist. Thanks !
