  1. I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section.

So, I need some help. AoS process now, after marriage and EAD.

My husband and I have been going through USCIS for over a year. June 2016 we became engaged, sent out the starting paperwork the same month. We married in February, he is here now living with me, and he's working with his work visa as we wait for our GC to be approved. We have been waiting a long time for this interview.

The problem is, as his wife and sponsor, I lost my job in June 2017. I am getting unemployment and am looking, but our interview has been scheduled a month from now.

I have a few questions. We already submitted the affidavit of support and my taxes documents before we married. The notice of action I-797C says to bring these to the interview unless already submitted. So, I'm not sure if I'm okay for the interview, or if his income with the work visa will work for us, or if I will have to ask my retired parents to co-sponsor.

    Can anyone help?

  2. Hello all

I'm an American female and my fiance is Italian. I have been reading so much about the K-1 visa and I'm really anxious. I sent out the application plus documents and the G-325a as well as letters/statements and photographs. Maybe that's a bit overboard, but I want this ride to be smooth, not bumpy.

My application, according to my USPS priority mail, was received at the Dallas lockbox Thursday, August 25th.

I have so many questions. How long will this process take? Did I do the right thing in adding extra info? Also, I have been employed a little over two years full time with my current employer. Before that I was just getting started in my field. I support myself. I am worried about so much.

I just want to marry the man I love. Any insight from those going through this or especially have gone though this?

    Thanks so much.
