  1. So my wife and I attended my AOS interview on august 25th 2016 and to me I think the interview went well except that my wife didn't have the long copy of her birth certificate. So after we present evidences of our marriage, the IO said the Interview was over and she would review the documents and mail us if she needed more evidence but she stressed on the fact that my work needs to get the long copy of the birth certificate. The IO didnt give us a precise Instruction on how to submit the certificate. Well we immediately file for the certificate when we got as my wife was born in connecticut and we live in Georgia. I finally got the certificate today. Do I wait for the letter in the mail or should I got the Atlanta field office where we were interview and hand deliver it to the IO?

  2. The officer didn't ask for us to mail the certificate. She said she will send us a mail if she needs more evidence. Should i mail the certificate or wait. The officer took my passport and made photocopies of it. But I still have my passport because she gave it back. Should I just walk to the immigration office and present the certificate? My interview date was august 25th 2016

  3. Hello

I had my I interview on august 25th. After the interview the officer asked my wife to get her original copy of the birth certificate and siad she will review the documents we submitted aND if she needs more evidence we will receive a letter in the mail. It has being over a week now and still no response or online update. How long do you think we have to wait and should I be worry. The officer did not approve or deny the case.

  4. My wife and I attending our AOS interview yesterday and I will say it went well. She asked a series of questions to both of us and we answered them correctly. My asked my wife for her birth certificate but she only had a birth card. So she stressed the need for my wife to get it. We submitted a joint bank account statement, car insurance document and a joint lease agreement. We are renting from my wife'should mother. The interviewer said she will review the submitted documents and if she needs additional information we will receive a letter in the mail. Is this going to be a problem? Is it legal for us to rent from her mother?

  5. Thank you and yes she is the Citizen. We have to request it online from the department of vital records from the of Connecticut. She actually had a birth card but the IO said she needs the other one showing parents full names. Also we live in my mother inlaw's house and pays rent. We submitted a joint lease agreement yesterday. Is it legal to rent from her mother?

  6. My wife and I attended our AOS interview yesterday. For me i think it went well because the IO asked series of questions to both of us and we answered them correctly. One thing she asked for that my wife didn't take to the interview was her birth certificate. The IO conducted the interview and then photocopy my passport and said the Interview was over. She was going to peruse the document we gave yesterday and if we needs additional information she will send us a letter in the mail. She also said my wife should get the birth certificate because they need it. I'm kind of worry but still trusting God. Please advice...
