  1. We recently received approval of my wife's I-751 even though her green card was expired. All I did is send the package with all the required documentation and a cover letter explaining the reason for the delay. We received a Letter of Action extending her status by 18 months. During that time, we will complete and send the N-400 package and wait for an appointment for Biometrics if necessary.

  2. We recently resubmitted our AOS packages because we had to include two separate checks for both my wife and her son's packages. September 2  , 2020 was the date they received the packages. The resubmission instruction were not very clear as to why the packages were rejected. I had to call to get clarification. Normally, if the package is rejected, it will be sent back within 30 day. Anyway, its been about 48 day since the packages  arrived at the Chicago processing center. Has anyone had a similar situation happen to them?

  3. We just sent AOS application application to Chicago lockbox. If you can get your primary doctor to give the required vaccines, it will save you money. The shots required for the AOS that your doctor does not have, has to be given by the Civil Surgeon. Shots could be expensive because they know you need them. Anyway, my wife and son were from China. When they received their TB test, three days later their results came back positive because the Chinese government gives it people at birth a shot that cause TB tests in the USA to be positive. They both had to have chest X-rays and be evaluated by health department doctor.

  4. We just completed the  I-485 Adjustment of Status process. Even though your wife was seen by a doctor and was vaccinated in China, she might have to repeat the process when she is seen by a US civil Surgeon. You have to also make sure you download the new Form I-485. My wife tested positive on her TB test because the Chinese government gives all new born children a vaccine that causes a positive result when the USA test is administered. Anyway, she had to have an x-ray and be evaluated by a health department doctor. If at all possible, if you have health insurance, have your primary doctor take care of most of the medical stuff before seeing a civil surgeon. It is very costly to have the civil surgeon do all that is listed on Form  I-693.

  5. Fiancé just completed DS-160. Since most banks are going paperless. Can statements from bank accounts be printed from my bank account site and sent to my fiancé for the interview or do I have to get copies from my banks on their letter head. Couples who recently completed their interview please provide some feedback. Fiancé will be doing her interview at Guangzhou US Consulate General.

  6. I went through something like this about 5 years ago with a lady from South Korea. She claimed to be a Christian Missionary. Anyway, got her out of my house and never married her. She took a large amount of money from me. I was very angry, but gave it all to God. Two months ago, I saw her in Los Angeles. I was going to go up to her and demand my money, but I believe that God prompted me to take no action because He was taking care of the matter and by bringing us together the way He did, this revealed to me that He is in control. Anyway, have you changed the locks in your home. You have to make sure he cannot have access to your house. Don't let him and the situation control you and what you do. You need to take control of the situation. Pray this will all workout.

  7. Completed the I-129F form and included all other support documents. Should be arriving to the Texas processing Center Thursday August 25, 2016. Trying to bring Fiancée and her son from Wuhan China. I welcome any comments or advise of others who have or are going through the same process who is in a relationship with a partner from China.
