I’m the petitioner and sponsor of my wife but I make slightly above the poverty guideline so I’m thinking of combining my mom’s income who lives with me. Since she files her taxes jointly with my dad, does my dad also need to sign his own I-864a? Or can I use only one of my parent’s income even if they file taxes jointly?

I was unemployed for a couple of months and received unemployment benefit. Can those be added to my total income when determining eligibility for sponsor?

Oops! According to the link, scanned copy or photocopy is accepted:
" A signed Affidavit of Support from your petitioner and any additional financial sponsors who submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of your visa application. Applicants may bring photocopies and scanned versions of signed Forms I-864 and associated documents. (Please note that the form must still be signed; typed names and electronic signatures will not be accepted.)"
Do you have a copy???
Yes. I do have a scanned copy of those documents.

You'll definitely need to bring the original I-864 and the supporting documents Good luck!!
Thanks! But I already submitted the original documents to the NVC. What should I do now?

My sponsor and join sponsor submitted the financial documents to the NVC. Do I need to bring updated documents during my interview? Or will the previous I-864 and other financial documents be enough to get a visa?

Hello everyone! We got our interview letter a few days ago. The letter told us to bring financial documents (Signed I-864 form, IRS transcript, income tax return, W-2 form for each sponsor) to the interview. Does this mean we have to bring a copy of those financial documents which were previously submitted to the NVC? Or do we have to bring new ones? Thanks! 😊

Whatever they submitted to USCIS is what you need to bring. IMO i would being everything possible so that you can provide it in the interview if the officer asks for it. (This is what i did, but luckily they didn't ask to see anything). It's best to be over prepared than under prepared
Thanks! And one last thing, is it mandatory to bring the W-2 form during the interview?

Hello! I am having my visa interview on 4th of October. My visa category is F4. I am a bit confused about which financial documents should I take to the interview. My petitioner and my sponsor are two different people. Do I need to take the AOS form, W2 form, IRS tax return of both of them?

Same here. Got my case completed back in December 2016 and still waiting for an interview to be scheduled here in Dhaka US Embassy.

We got our case complete email back in 27th of december, 2016. Our priority date is current from January, 2017. It's been almost five months but we still haven't got our interview scheduled. Can someone please tell me what's going on? Is anything wrong at US Embassy, Dhaka?

Same problem here. Our case was completed on 27th of December. It's been over four months now...

I think you should call The NVC to see if they sent your case to the embassy
The CEAC website shows current processing site is NVC.

Your case is at consulate or embassy now, you need to wait until your interview slot become available, there is no way around. Be patient.
But when I log into the CEAC website, it says our case is at the NVC right now.

Hello everyone! Our case (f4 visa category) was completed on 29th of December, 2016. Our priority date became current in January but we haven't received any interview date yet from NVC! What should we do??

We received the case complete mail back in 27th December. We're awaiting an interview. We also had N/A under AOS fee in CEAC website. But today it's changed to 'Paid'. Can someone please tell me why did this happen?

No our PD is 12th January, 2004. And this month's (November) visa bulletine says that current priority date is 01DEC03. So I hope my mom will get notified in the next month.
I've paid my IV fees, submitted my DS-260. I even have the receipt and ds-260 confirmation page. Do you think during my mother's interview, the consulate officer will calculate my cspa age? I'm so confused now. :/

My aunt applied for my mother back in January 2003. Her Petition was approved in 2009. Our priority date becomes current in the next month. My birth year is 1994 so if I am correct, I'am CSPA eligible. Back in november 2015, when nvc contacted my mother for visa preprocessing, we sent an email describing my situation and requested them to include me with my mother's case. After that, NVC sent invoice for me and we also submitted DS-260 form for me. My name was also included in the CEAC website. But few days ago I checked the site and saw my name was removed and on the IV application status of that website, it says 'Not Available'. Though visa fee shows 'Paid'. What does it mean? What should I do now?
