Hi I am traveling down to see my girlfriend in St Paul, MN from Canada and I received the engagement ring from my mother. I am wondering how I would go about transporting the ring down so I can propose? My mother does not have the receipt for the ring anymore so I am unsure of the true value of the ring. Any help would be great thanks.

Thanks I guess I'm just trying to find out if I need to pay taxes/duty since the ring was made in Canada and is staying in the states. And if I do how to value it since I don't have a receipt. I will be flying with Delta
