  1. Dear good folks of the Visa Journey forum,

I am hoping someone who has gone through the process can help offer advice on the fiance address.

My fiancee and I met in New York last year when she was working for an international organization. We fell in love and decided to get married, but she had to go back to her country after her assignment was over.

My fiancee now resides in Seoul, Korea, and I live in New Jersey. We are thinking about starting off the K-1 process so we can reunite here in the States.

The issue is that we are planning to go through the whole process without her parents finding out... and as most Koreans do before their marriage, she lives at home with her parents.

I know some of you might be thinking that it's never a good idea to get married without parental approval, and in our case, it is.

We are both over 30 years old and have been building our careers for almost a decade now, so we are not young and wild let's get married without telling our parents type.

My fiancee's parents are abusive and like to dictate every aspect of her life, including the finances of money she earns herself, and her personal life.

Long story short, her parents do not approve our joining, and are abusive to their own daughter to a degree where I am thoroughly disgusted.

So I am bringing her over here (New Jersey, USA) to marry me without the consent of her parents.

Now, this journey will be a lengthy one, and we have to proceed discreetly until she safely escapes the country.

Once found out, her parents will likely take over her bank account, make her quit her job, and lock her in at home with surveillance.

So it is absolutely crucial for us that nothing gets mailed to her family address.

Form I-129F has a section for Alien Fiance's mailing address which I assume is for embassy/consulate to contact her for interviews and such down the road.

Form I-134 asks for her residency address, and I think there might be more areas where I will have to notate her home address.

We are trying to put her work address as the mailing address, so she can receive all documents and notices at work i/o home.

Do you guys know if any kind of notice or mails will be sent to her home? or can we work through the entire process till the issuance of K1 visa and her departure with her work address?

Guessing some people might have gone through similar circumstances. Please let me know!
