Just for clarification I was going to use 2015 w2 and tax return info should I use 2016 instead?

Hello VJ family I have a question. When my fiancé gets here how long do we have to wait to travel outside of the country together. My fiancé visa interview is in march and my best friend is getting married in April, it's a destination wedding in Jamaica. Can anyone help me out.

Yes, that's exactly correct! Congrats! You can schedule your interview after filling out DS-160 and paying the visa fee. Check the local consulate forums to be certain because each embassy is slightly different, some seem to require you to wait for a hard copy confirming this. I've heard that mine (Philippines) does not require the hard copy to schedule it, but that my fiancé needs to bring it with her to the medical and interview

Wow almost at the finish line. I'm so excited.... I found out I have to wait for my fiancé to get packet 3 and 4 before completing ds-160 and paying fees unfortunately that could take up to 6 weeks at the Ghana embassy then another 2 month wait after that for the interview ? The waiting continues for us.

When your case say ready does that mean it's at the embassy?

Finally got a case number ??

Yayy NVC finally recieved the application today. Hoping to get the case number soon anyone know the average time it takes to get the case number after NVC receives the case.

Side note it was a 25 day wait...

I finally got my approval yayyyyytt!!! NOA2 Notification came in tonight I am feeling so happy right now!! Can't wait to start calling NVC!!

NVC System is down since 9pm est tonight and they will be closed tomorrow for Veterans Day...... the waiting for a case number continues 3 weeks now

called again in 4 hours and got case received !! will call tomorrow and try to get case number , the lady told me id get a case number in 2 weeks but just another pad answer of theirs =)

I just got a notification that my RFE was received today and my case is now in process. Praying for a approval soon so I can join the call NVC wagon!!!

My case was received on September 27th and a case that was received on the same day just got feedback that they need to submit additional evidence and supporting documentation

Your estimated processing day is October 19-25 today is the 9th. Have some faith and hope we will all be united with our fiancé soon!!! Also I know it's hard but don't try to keep comparing your case to others. There are cases from every country you can think of. Have faith I know we will all get approved!!! Have a blessed day love
