Check was incorrect. You are supposed to make a check for $1225.00 for adjustment of status.

You need to scan the police certificate to NVC during the consular processing, then you have to keep the original for the interview.

Anyone knows, why the consulate of USA in Santo Domingo is taking so long to set interview after NVC approval AOS?

When you filed the AOS she should had submitted an explanation of her tax situation for the 2018 tax year.

Where were you when you file I-130?. It looks like it was a mistake when you filed I-130.

You should move out of the house as soon as possible, You do not want any kind of problem with the law at this point of your N400/

Check the instructions of form I-864 it is very self explanatory, if you have any doubt with the poverty guideline check I-864P.

Yes, lately is happening with more frequency. I know a couple that USCIS visited them and walk thru the apartment in NYC.

My wife came in with a B1/B2 visa that she has for about 6 years last December. My question is we got married in NYC last December 2015, she went back to D.R. and came back to USA 3 months later, now I am planning to make adjustment over here if I do not have problem.

I am a little confused with doing an AOS in USA. I got married last December 2015 with my wife in NYC then she decided to go to DR to solve some personal problem and came back 3 months ago. I am planning to do the adjustment late this months. She is used to travel back and forth on vacation since 2010 and we started dating early on February 2014. I need some advices before files AOS.
