  1. Hello VJ Forum,

I recently received an RFE for a couple of things, one of them was because the copy of the marriage contract I sent was not from the Philippine Statistic Authority (it was from the local registrar). That's not a problem, we're in the process of getting that delivered so I can send them that additional evidence. However, what concerns me is when the registrar typed up our marriage contract, they left out my wife's 2nd first name/ given name. She has two given names, a middle, and last of course. Will submitting a marriage contract that does not list both of her given names cause us problems further down the road? All of the documents i filled out for her, including the biographic information and the main I-130 Petition use both of her given names. This is troubling to me because I am worried that if the names don't exactly match our case may be delayed or denied; as well, we have filed for an amendment to the marriage contract to include her 2nd given name, but it takes many months to process and may bring us very close to the RFE deadline before we can even get it.

Should I submit our original PSA marriage certificate that only includes her 1st "given" name, or do I need to wait until we can get a copy of the amended contract including both her first and second "given" names?

An example would be someone by the name of Anna Mae Reynoso Salvacion (Given name, Given name, Middle name, Surname), but the original marriage contract only include Anna Reynoso Salvacion (Given Name, (Missing Given Name), Middle Name, Surname)

Will they still accept it with her second given name being missing? Any advice is greatly appreciated
