Hello, idk if this helps or if we are doing the same thing but. we got our i601a approved July 27th, case closed September 22nd, and date of interview November 1st and the actual appointment December 16th. Hope it helps you or someone. Good luck and hope you get our date soon and a goes well.

Hello, I'm pretty new to the site and I'm just getting the hang of this along with this whole immigration thing. Well, my husbands I-601a was just approved in the 27th of July. I did not go with my husband to the lawyers when we went to go take her some new papers, passport fotos and a couple other things. He did speak with her but he is so bad at remembering things. Anyways, For what he told me, he says that this new paper work that was sent out, was for Juarez so he can receive his interview date. That the wait was over after almost 2 years in October 26 and that between 2-3 months he should get a date of his interview. That's they let you know also about 3 weeks in advance to prepare. I have a relative that is going there the same process as we are, but in another state ( I'm in IL and they are in FL) he commented to some one that they told him 6-8 months or so to receive your appointment date. Can some one give me feed back on what their times were, I know every case is different but something would be nice. Thanks !

Thanks for the post this helps out Alot, and it's nice to know how some things work out. I'm new to the Site and all this is new and good advice. I didn't know you could have your biometrics and medical exam befor hand. We thought they maybe scheduled that for you at the consulate or gave you the instructions to do it after something. I know I maybe sound dumb but I really don't know what all the expect. We should have our (My husbands ) appointment soon, our I601a was Approved on the 27 of July, and we are know just on stand by for the that they told us that he should take 3 to 4 months, At least I hope. My husband was thinking of staton at the Micro Hotel since his brother stayed there a couple years back.

Hi, I can't remember when exactly we sent out ours but, my husband did go to his finger prints / biometrics on Feb 25th and it the i601a was approved July 27. FYI a acuatance of ours did his in January and was approved around the same days as ours.
