After all the long waiting and other things with getting my former fiancee here, i learned last night she has been living a double life with another guy in Taiwan.
Therefore, I need some advice....
She is in the US, arrived earlier this month and supposedly was going to Cali to visit family. Well, apparently, the family she mentioned was the other boyfriend and I found out about it yesterday.
What are my next steps? I plan to call INS and speak to them about it..... am I financially liable for her? I woudl think that if she has left me for another man, she is outside the parameters of her K1 visa, and more than likely has comitted visa fraud.
Thoughts???

Ann's interview went just fine, she will be in NY on the 5th. I will post a full review tomorrow.
Thanks for all the warm wishes!

Our interview is scheduled for tomorrow morning, Taiwan local time. We are both nervous, but it is almost all done. We have gone over everything and double checked it, then triple checked.
We sound like a bad Christmas carol...
Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone for all of their help and support. Without it, I think I would have gone nuts!
Thanks, and any well wishes and good luck prayers, thoughts, etc. would be most appreciated.
Best,
Tim & Ann

AIT has been pretty sloppy with returning calls and emails lately. Be persistant. It took Ann and I 3 days to talk to a live person about a question we had.
Good luck....

Good point, it is what it is....
Thanks...

yes, sorry.... DS156 forms all over on my desk here!
Any suggestions on what to write in that space though?
I was thinking something along the lines of not understanding the correct visa process, hence the K1 application.

OK, I have a question on the DS230 for my fiancee'. She is concerned about what to write in form about her prior denial of entry for not having suitable home ties.
I understand honesty is the best policy and that is our intention. Our basic issue was that we hadn't done all of our homework about her coming to see me and she was denied.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

Congrats, what a long wait!!!

Awesome news for you both!

Thank you everyone for your support, well wishes and overall knowledge.
I have called Ann about 30 times in Taiwan, and she has not answered her cell yet, so she still doesn't know!!! What a nice morning she is going to have!

We filed for our I129F in August and are hoping for an approval from Vermont very soon.....
We used a lawyer to file our petition (stupid, but we hadn't found this site yet!), and I was wondering who would get the P3 information? Will it be sent to Ann in Taiwan or to our lawyer here in the US?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Wonderful news.... congratulations
-
Great , happy to see someone getting some good news!

The lawyers I used asked for both the passport and birth certifate for my fiancee' (beneficiary).
Although, it doesn't appear to make too much difference (IMHO), filed in early Aug at VSC with no action since 8/8

Come on VSC, keep it up!

Need Help
in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
Posted
Here is the update on everything:
ICE and USCIS both were interested in hearing about my case, but that was about it. Until her 90 days is up, she is here legally without any implications.
Her family has received an email from me concerning her actions, kindly worded and informative.
It's a new day, and now it is time to move on and put my life back in order.....
