    Lee’s summit Missouri processing.

    This whole time I thought my case was at Nebraska because it’s the only option when you look on USCIS for I-601a in the drop down menu. Just called (because I’ve had no other updates) for the automated system to tell me it’s at Lee’s summit MO office 

     

    our receipt date is 1/14/18 

    has anyone been approved from the Missouri office ?! 

    is notification I601a being processed real???

    you need to help the VJ commuity answer questions u post by giving some more info so we can see your timeline and compare to processing times 

    My receipt date is 1/14/18 which is listed. I was under the impression it was at Nebraska office but I just called and the automated system said it’s at Lee’s summit MO. I already checked online and I’m outside of normal processing time. The question is what can I do about it besides the form and does anyone actually receive any notice when their case is being processed or they just receive if it’s been denied or approved

    On the USCIS website (WHICH IS FULL OF BS), it says:

    We are actively processing your case if, in the past 60 days, you:

    • Received a notice from us about your case,
    • Responded to a request for evidence, OR
    • Received an online update to your case status.

    Does this actually happen?? has anyone gotten any kind of heads up when theyre working on their case?

    our last update is from January with fingerprint fee received.  our receipt date is 1/14/18 at Nebraska office which is seems theyre on October 17 from what I'm seeing around the forum.

    My receipt date for I601a is 1/14/18. Last update I have on my account was from January about finger print fee received. I sent an outside of normal processing time form on 9/13 and got a response about heavy work load blahblahblah. But website is showing they’re processing March now ! 

    What else can I do after sending the outside of normal processing time form?!  call?!

    Sorry, I may be reading this wrong, but am I reading that when your husband was here illegally you reported his income and paid quarterly taxes for him?  If my reading is correct, then you may have created a big problem with USCIS and your 601 application.  Hopefully I have misread.

    are taxes something that are brought to the consulate interview? we are currently waiting for our i-601A waiver approval. My husband has an ITIN but this year my tax guy said he doesn't have to report because he's paid in cash. Last year he was also paid in cash (obviously since he can't legally work) and we had him as under self-employed and we paid quarterly. When my tax guy did it different this year i didn't really say much but now i'm concerned. He's included in the taxes since we're married filing jointly but idk if they will look into the income part and have a problem with it. now i'm worried!!!

    Went to an H & R block where she did authorize his passport (which only says his county on it). his birth certificate only says Guatemala but at the top shows its out of his town so maybe we'll try that in addition this time. His ID from the consulate also only has "guatemala, guatemala, guatemala" listed. I think they're looking for like a street name but he's from a small town where they don't have mailing address like that.

    My husbands ITIN application was recently denied due to address. Originally we had put his town, city and country of Guatemala. I then received a paper stating the address was not valid to provide another one. On this paper it stated IF YOU NO LONGER HAVE A PERMANENT RESIDANCE DUE TO RELOCATION, PUT THE FOREIGN COUNTRY YOU LAST RESIDED. Therefore we put Gautemala which I then received the rejection notice. As most of you having dealt with any US government agency will know, calls to the IRS were close to useless. I asked one women what they wanted considering his town doesn't have house numbers and street names like ours to which she told me, well you need to put where he's from. HELLO THATS WHAT WE DID. so now I'm refilling the application and considering finding a larger city that has some type of house number and street name just to satisfy them.

    Any suggestions ?!?
