Mrs Jacob congratulation..I read on your timeline that you were married before? how long did it take for u to divorce and marry ur present spouse?

My divorce was finalized on first day of December and I married January 12th. I had been separated from my for 2 years though. So I wrote that in affidavit when I sent off the paperwork and I made a divorce timeline to be presented with divorce decree at the Interview. My husband said that lady that collected his docs at the Embassy tried to give letter back to him, but he told her “no” it goes with the divorce decree.
