Hello. Has anyone had to reschedule their interview recently? We originally had an interview set in July but had to reschedule. We submitted a request for rescheduling after the missed appointment but still have heard nothing from the consulate and it has almost been a month. If I go into the visa website I am able to schedule another appointment but when I spoke with the Visa call center they told me that appointment is not valid and I will need a new interview letter. I am just wondering how long does it take to get a rescheduled appointment? And we will need a whole new letter I assume? Thanks!

My husband originally had an interview in July but we had to reschedule this appointment. We missed the date then rescheduled online through the us-visa website. I received a confirmation email that states the new date and the website now shows to attend the appointment. However i can't schedule the ASC. My lawyer called and was told that the date on the website isn't true?? However i can not get through to talk to an operator. When I call the numbers listed on the us visa website it is just a recording of generic info. Has anyone delt with a reschedule or know how I can get to an operator at the consulate to speak with?? Thank you everyone. I have decided to not take her. We may do a compromise and I fly in just for 2 nights to be there for the interview while her grandmom watches her.

Thank you. My worries started when I spoke with a friend that happened to travel with a baby to Peru for family and her baby got very sick. It might be best to leave her but a whole weeks seems so long. Anyone have a successful trip?

Hello. My husband has his interview at the consulate soon. We have a one year old together. I am trying to decide if it is worth it to go with my husband and bring our baby or stay home with her. Has anyone had successful trips with young babies? We would be flying into El Paso and taking taxi into Mexico. I'm concerned about her getting sick from food or milk or water. I wouldn't be able to wait 4 hours outside consulate in the heat with a one year old either. Anyone have any tips on bringing young kids and food safety? This would be her first time sleeping away from home without her crib also.
