  1. I am feeling so overwhelmed and frustrated now. To cut a long story short, my mom's green card was delivered to our old address, although we moved three years ago, she went for her interview with my new address, came into the country and presented the new address to customs, I changed my address at least 2 times with USCIS, I put in our new address when I was paying for her card...... and it goes on and on. I went to the old address about a week after it was "delivered" and the current occupant said she has not seen any mail for us. The post office still had it as delivered ( August, 2019) and so it doesn't look like it's been returned to USCIS.

I have called USCIS  a few times and even spoken to an officer and still they want me to pay for a new card. *sob*. My mom needs to travel back home in a few weeks and I am feeling the pressure.

The officer said I could fill out the I 912 form for a fee waiver but the stipulations on that form does not seem very promising.

Help, please. Has anyone else had any luck with the form or this issue in general?

    TIA

  2. I am filling the I 130 for my mom and I am not sure what to put down as her marital status as I have no marriage certificate as proof. They had a customary marriage and therefore do not have a marriage certificate.

I did see somewhere on the forum that during the process, we can get a couple of relatives to give affidavits as witnesses to the ceremony, in the meantime what do I put down as her marital status. Confused. I am anticipating the same issue when I file for my dad.

    Thanks for your help
