I wouldn't leave the country.... there's a chance they will interview you guys or send an RFE.
In my case they sent us an letter in the mail only a week and half before the interview...regular mail, no online status update...I'm glad we didn't missed it!

I agree with Cheezees....if there's no activity on the account, there's no reason to send only the first page either.
The joint account should show things like: bills, rent, grocery shopping, purchases, deposits and withdraws....We, for example, deposited the tax return check from IRS on the joint account.
