  1. Without a Priority Date and the approval date, I can not do the calculations for you. There should be two notices. You have to get them if you want me to do the CSPA calculations for you.

I also need to know which country you were born in.

The PD is sept 25, 2006

My aunt sent me a letter which states that the petition has been approved and sent to NVC. I can not find any approval daye mentioned on the letter but the notice date is July 15,2015.

And I was born in Pakistan

Hope this helps to do the calculations

  2. Hey

My aunt (mother's sister) filled an I-130 for my mother and her family in 2006. In July 2015, my aunt received a letter stating that the petition has been approved and they have sent the original visa petition to the department of state National Visa Centre (NVC). Can anybody please let me know how long would it take to get the visa now?

Another question is that I turned 21 in April 2016. My birthdate is 11.Apr.1995. Priority date is Sept 25,2006. Am I still eligible for the immigrant visa?

I tried to do the CSPA calculation online but they've been asking for 'Visa Bulletin Current date' which I don't know.

(Above added by Mod from other thread to make question clearer)

I have a copy of the I-797C, Notice of Action, can this be of any help in knowing whether CSPA would help?

What's the PD? is it the priority date? If yes, then it's blank on the I-797C.

and I have the notice date and received date, don't know which is the approval date. Notice date is Oct 2, 2006 and received Date is Sep 25, 2006.

And my birthday is 11th April, 1995.

  3. Hey

My aunt (Mother's sister) filed an I-130 for my mother and her family in 2006. However, I have now turned 21 and believe that I am no longer eligible for I-130. Am I right on this? and do I need to get my I-130 cancelled or it gets cancelled automatically?

I have done my ACCA and have submitted my thesis for the degree of B.Sc (Hons.) in applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. I want to know can I apply for M.S in Finance after getting my B.S degree?

Another question: I was planning to get married in January 2017 and was willing to apply for F-1 in May 2017. However, I want to know does marriage affects your chances of getting the visa? Also, my fiancé is currently studying in Australia and completing his BBA. His visa is valid till the end of next year, so how does he apply for f-2? should he apply with me? or should he apply later on when I get the visa?

Also, if someone could please help me in knowing some good universities that are affordable and offer financial assistance in Dallas, TX.

    Thank you in advance.
