Hi mom is been living with me for the last few yrs and is eligible to file for citizenship.The question is she has had no income for the last few yrs as she was helping me with the kids and hence didnt file any returns.Is she ok to file her n400 or file 1040 ez before file the n400?Thanks in advance for any advice

They are asking your (petitioner's) marriage and birth certficate to establish legallity of your relation with your parents. NVC probably wants to check that people you are applying for are really your parents. Birth cert. and marriage cert. would establish this relationship because they usually contain names of parents.

I got married in the US and they dont have parents name and i dont have Birth certificate from India cause it was never registered.Any help???/

Could someone point me in the right direction regarding NVC. My parents I-130 is with NVC and they have requested Mine i:e the petitioner's Marriage certificate and Birth Certificate... I am kinda confused cause i thought the I-130 has already been approved by USCIS? Thanks in Advance

My mother Applied for AOS under the DORA program about end September and she got a 70th day letter, but she didnt go for EAD/Advance Parole hoping her case would be approved by now and save the money, but now a little emergency has arisen and she need to go home, where should she file for Advance Parole, Local office or Chicago Lock Box?? Plz anybody can advice me will be much appreciated.Thanks a lot
