Thanks for the info, I will try emailing them.

first ask your husband what he had mentioned at the time of the interview about your work related stuff.

Second, read carefully what they have stated in in the latter about the required documents

Third Call NVC and tell them about how much you are making and you have been given this response by the embassy to submit or call the embassy.

Lastly, Your last option, don't you know any one like family, friends, and relatives, who can support you as a joint sponsor.

I hope I am helping you well.

Yes I attached all that. I am making more than the poverty level, but I started working 07/2016, so that income level doesn't show in my 2016 tax, since I only worked less than half of the year.

According to their website, Employment latter and the most recent pay stubs should be well enough to prove that you are making more than enough to exceed poverty levels

Hello everyone, so my husband had his interview on March 13. Everything went well but we need a joint sponsor, because it is less than a year that I have started working. It is so stressful, I can't find anyone willing to be a joint sponsor. Anyone have a suggestions?

Did you attach your most recent Employment Verification latter?

Did you attach your 2 pay stubs?

If you had filed your 2016 tax return, did you attach your 1040 form along with your w2's?

Call them, and if you are making more than poverty level according to their guidelines, you do not need any joint sponsor.

We need more details about what you have written in your i-864ez about your income in order to help me more in detail.

  4. Well my case was sent from Potomac Center and NVC received it on July 13 (USCIS sent it July 8) and it took them exactly two weeks to assign a case number at NVC, which i found out by calling them. They were able to provide me with the case number and IIN over the phone on July 27 (2 weeks from July 13). I was able to fill out DS-261 online on the night of July 27 going into July 28 (officially I submitted the form online July 28). I called today (july 28) to confirm but they told me to wait for the welcome letter. Which came later today (around 4:30 EST). Now I will pay the AOS fee and then hopefully by tomorrow or Monday (most likely) I will call and go over the DS-261 and pay the IV fee.

    I hope that helps.

I have few questions to ask

    1. Did you filed i-864 or i-864EZ

    2. Did you submit the IRS Transcript for only 2015 or you did for 2014 and 2013 as well.

    3. Did you send your employment latter when you filed.

    4. Did you send your Passport or proof of citizenship

    5. Did you send any pictures when you sent your IV-Package. Like marriage pictures or others.

Looking forward to hear back from you.

  5. Well I heard from someone that if I call them daily, being from Pakistan and all, it will make them suspicious. I have already collected all the documents for AOS and IV packages, I have even almost finished the AOS, just need to print and sign it and put the case number on all the pages.

How long it took you to get your case# assigned, They received mine case on 21st July. However, case number has not assigned yet, so let me know how long it took you to get the case #. In addition to that, did you get your case # on phone or you received welcome latter. Let me know the details

  6. So to update those who are at Potomac, I called USCIS precisely after 3 months of my PD of March 22 and well I was told by the tier 2 officer that my case was approved a day before, however when I received the text few hours later (of the same day as my call) the date on NOA2 was june 30 rather than june 29 and i got my hard copy in the mail few days later. after a week of NOA2, the petition was sent to NVC on July 8 and i got a text and alert through the USCIS app.

Then a week later (today) I called NVC to ask them a question regarding AOS, they told me that they received my case and that it will be assigned in 2 weeks.

So my point is that sometimes it is best to call and find out. they can give you information over the phone that you least expect it

The email from USCIS was slow for me since I initially never signed up for the email notifications.

Call them Daily, but different timing. While during the waiting time to get your Case#, collect all the documents for AOS to make your process faster.
