Thank you all for the help. Approved on 10-26, received card on 11-3. We plan on going to SSN office on 11-15. Crossing fingers everything is ready to go after being on US soil for 6 months. VJ and it's member's have been very helpful since applying for K1.

We have the EAD card in hand and approved. My question is, with this card do we go to the SS office to apply for a SSN? I ask because we need a SSN to be able to apply for RN Lic. in the state of CA. Any help is appricated

Our K1 Visa is due in 1 month. We will be getting married next week and will have our Marriage certs ready to send in. We have completed the I-485 all 18 pages, and have the photos, copy of birth cert, and pending our Marriage cert. Where do I send all this information too? Can I deliver in person? I am located near Los Angeles

Good Morning everybody, Fiance landed here in the US on a K1 3 days ago. And I would like to do a change of address prior to our wedding which will be in the middle of May.
Which form do you recommend. Everything I have read is pretaining either before they arrive or when we get married, but nothing inbetween.

Thank You for everything and the responses have been great.
We have filled out the pre-questions for the medical and will be arriving 1 week prior to the 3rd for the interview.
As for the DS-160 conifrmation number, We were never asked for it. She booked via online after visa payment was posted. We have a copy of the DS-160 with the number but again never asked to input it.
Should we call the Embassy to confirm, we did recive a email stated confirmation of the appointment. As long as she will bring it with her as well as all documents to the interview.
Thank You all!!!!!!!!!

ohh I see, I was under the impression the medical would be 1-2 days prior to the interview. And that she would recieve the appointment date for that.
I guess I'm backed to the drawing broad, I will look at the site to scheulde the medical and what is a CFO? This is a first I have heard of it.
Everything is good to go.
I would much like to take care of everything in a week as she lives 1.5hrs away via plane. Hate to keep going back and forth.
But If I have too, I have no choice.

We have just got done booking my fiance appointment for Manilia.
My question is this, When we booked it for March 3, there was no information filed to enter her DS-160 confirmation number.
I keep on seeing that the Ds-160 number is needed to be inputted prior to booking the appointment.
I just want to make sure that when we show up, they tell us to go home because of this.
Also is March 3rd enough time for the hospital visit as well?
Hoping to get this done that week as March 3rd is a Friday. And what happens if she hasnt recieved her packet from the Embassey pretaining this?
I'm just on edge as this is towards the end, and want everything to flow smoothly. Or if I should rescheduled for a later date?
Thanks again for all your input since the beginning

Thank you Java,
Unfortunately there is no BPI bank near her place the closet BPI is a plane ride away. According to the Bancnet site, the instructions say they accept Metro Bank, but when we go to pay via the website there is no Metro Bank. I will assume Metro Bank does not accept deposit anymore.
Any last pointers before she flies out to cebu to pay the fee?

Long time seeker and yes it has been a journey. We are now in the final stages of the K1 process. We have to schedule a appointment at the Embassey in Manilia. But we have another fee and the DS 160 will need to be completed. My question is this, for the $265 fee that needs to be made prior to making a appointment. This can only happend in her home country correct? As I do not have a citibank account. Also apply for the US Visa to complete the DS 160 online after payment has been made as well. Or is it vice versa.
Thank you for your help many topics have been covered here.

All above is true, My wife waited 5months to get her EAD, then 1 week for your SSN and just recently sent off for your RN lic, so another 1-2 months for that to come through. It's not that easy or should I say quick. you and your spouse need to sit tight and save right as much as you can now.
