Hey you guys,

Yes i'm sure i'm at 240 days and counting. My first NOA for my k3 was December 16, 2005. And no it hasn't combusted lol. The last touch I had was July 11. And we've called everyone, and everyone is on our case. But because me and my husband are of middle eastern origin, our congresswoman said that as middle easterners we are considered 'guilty' untill proven innocent. So basically they have to do all these different checks becaue God knows how many people have our names etc. Its quite sad.

I wouldn't be surprised if I go up to 16 months. I'm loosing hope. My goal is that I will be in there in less than 2 years INSHALLAH . So next ramadan we'll be together . INSHALLAH!

11 months is a lot too..justwaiting

Your probably stuck at security checks. We've applied for a k-3 in December and its been almost 7 months since our first NOA. Contact your congressman/woman yourself and your senator. Also, you can request status of your case which takes 4 weeks for them to reply, and sometimes they don't reply at all. But our congresswoman was very helpful because they replied to her.

Our I-130 started processing 7 days ago, after almost 7 months of waiting. Its normal I guess.

I was just curious. I still have a loooooooooohoooooong time untill my medical I'm sure. But its just good to know and dream ahaha

And about the embassy choice, I'll probably be forwarded to vancouver then, which is nice. Never been there before. .

I wouldn't recommend travelling to the U.S. Personally, I wasn't allowed and had to sign a withdrawl untill I have my paperwork finished. I'm amazed when I hear people getting through easily. I think it depends on your luck.

If you bring enough proof your returning maybe it would work.

What do they do to you in the medical? lol. Like what kind of things do you have to do? And for those that have done it, how long does it take?

Second question. Does the NVC forward your stuff to an embassy of your choice or do they choose for you? Do you have a choice between Montereal and Vancouver?

Hey isabel, I"m amazed your I130 got approved in 111 days. Is that normal? We are still pending..and we applied almost seven months ago.

Hey Jersey girl, I would fill out my Time Line but my husband has all the exact dates. I know our K3 visa was received on exactly December 16, 2005. SO I just go by that date, and that's all I care about right now .

ShirlJ its comforting to know that someone from Alberta (like myself) had the same thing happen to them. ANd its also comforting to know that it took 8months for you. It will be seven months on July 16th.

If you are one of the lucky ones then there is a chance your k3 will be approved and over with before december.

Im sure though if you go back to your country the paper work will still continue normally.

I'm amazed when I looked at older threads of people's K3's being approved in like 3 months. I was in shock. That's luck. I wonder why ours is taking so long .

Hello Everyone,

I am so glad I found this website. I finally have people to relate to loool. I'm in Canada right now waiting for my k3 and my green card to be with my husband in the U.S. It has been over 6 months since our k3 application..sadly.

Well yeah, I don't know what else to say but I'm just in it like the rest of you.
