  1. Went to the interviews today with my wife and son. I'm the USC petitioner. Each of them has their own interview time but we all got called in at the same time. The interviews were scheduled for 8am and 8.45am respectively. We got called around 8.15am. The officer was very thorough, asked many questions to check with that we filed on the applications.

We submitted the new medical exam, new tax returns, pay stubs, pictures. She said it will be approved and get our cards soon.

The interview was done by 9.20am. On our way home, got email/text notification that card for my son has been ordered. Has not received notice for my wife card yet.

We are going to have an interview on the same exact day in Houston! ^_^ Not a day earlier or later, the very same. We've got the letter and half a day later an email and a text message on the phone.

Sorry if I missed something, but since it's 14 months(same for us), are you going to do a new medical exam? We've been thinking about finding a uscis doctor, but so far the reviews scare me, I'm not a fan of medicals in general.

We just sent out EAD/AP last week too, all in one envelope.

    What time is your interview?

We did the new exam last month at the office of the office below. Very reasonable price. I will bring it to the interview.

We are a Jan 2017 AOS filer from out of Houston.  From a k1.   I noticed its taking like 13 months or so to schedule interviews for aos out of Houston.   Really backed up.    I created a facebook group for those of us in Houston, Dallas, Harlingen, El Paso going through AOS.  If you want to join there it would be really helpful to post timelines and recent updates.  Best Wishes!

What is the name of the FB group?

Hi Tara, it won't be long now...I received my interview notice for Houston exactly 365 days after signing my documents with the lawyer.

Thanks, best luck with your interview.

I was thinking of 12 month wait in Houston so I scheduled a trip in August, thinking our interview would be over by then. Now, i realize it takes 13 months so we may have to cancel the trip :(
