I have AOS interview for green card scheduled January 25th, in San Francisco. My husband lost his job recently and will not have 2 months of his paychecks to take. He hopefully will get an offer letter from another job, just before the interview.
How can I handle this situation?
Our application is based on marriage.

Hi all,
I have adjustment of status interview January 25th. I just got notice yesterday for interview in San Francisco Bay Area.
I am applying for AOS through marriage.
How should I prepare for interview?
Is there anything I must do particularly?
Any suggestions or advice from those recently interviewed?
Thanks in advance.

Hi My fiance and I filled for my AOS on June 20th from family based visa.
Day 1 - June 20th: Case accepted at USCIS
Day 123 - October 21st: Received notice that case is ready to be scheduled for interview.
It is today Day 183.
When can I expect to receive notice for my interview?
Regards

I have applied for AOS on June 20th as my husband is US Citizen. I received my EAD and AP for travel. I am traveling to India on November 1st to December 20th.
I received notification that "Case is Ready to be scheduled for Interview" on October 23rd.
I live in San Jose, CA. When can I expect USCIS to schedule interview.
What documents should I carry while I travel with the AP?

How soon after you get the text message saying your case is ready to be scheduled for interview do you get the notice?
I'm leaving for vacation in 10 days and just got the case update saying ready to be scheduled for interview. So need to prepare incase I have to reschedule.

I have applied for AOS, my husband is US citizen and I am here on Student visa. EAD and travel permit were approved at DAY 67, I am currently at DAY 90 for I-130 AND 485.
I had RFE requesting passport page details at DAY 44 for I-485.
When can I expect further process on the I-130 and I-485?
Any feedback or experience form others?

I have applied for AOS in june 20th. I received RFE for I-485 and submitted the request which they received on August 15th. I also received AP and EAD september 6th.
What is the expected time frame for next step?
-
Okay, so I finally got my RFE letter after almost waiting anxiously for a week.
RFE says I must submit evidence for lawful admission or parole into the United States. Such evidence includes, but is not limited to Form I-94, Arrival/Departure Record, Form I-512 with completed arrival stamp, or a copy of the nonimmigrant visa page of your passport showing admission to the United States.
I am preparing the response and thinking I should include this:
1) over letter
2) I-94 photocopy (front and back)
3) Copy of nonimmigrant visa with arrival stamp page
4) Original RFE letter
Do you think I need to send anything else? or is it best to send only what they request?
Thanks for your help or feedback!

I applied for AOS through marriage, I-130, I-131, I-485, I-864, I-693
My time line is as follows;
DAY 0: April 18th: Married
DAY 0: June 15th: Mailed package to Chicago lockbox
DAY 0: June 17th: Mailed I-130, I-131, I-765, I-864, I-485
DAY1: June 20th: Case received
DAY 4: June 24th: Finger print fee for I-485 received
DAY 9: June 29th: Text messages and email received
DAY 25: July 15th: Biometrics appointment letter received
DAY 32: July 22nd: Biometrics scheduled
DAY 44: August 3rd: RFR on I-485I received text message for RFE on 485, I am very worried about what they could request. We submitted as much as possible documentations. Would this mean something is missing from 485, 864 and the medical 693?
Anybody else had RFE on 485? What have your experiences been? Would be helpful to know while I wait for the letter.
Also how does this affect the processing of travel permit and EAD?

I have applied for AOS and hoping to get travel permit (AP) soon to travel to India from California. Does anyone have experience if its easier to complete immigration in Abu Dhabhi or better to do it in San Francisco?
One of the flights (Etihad) clears immigration in Abu Dhabhi. I am wondering if its easier to do that or if its better to catch a flight that clears immigration here in USA.
Please advise if you have any experience or suggestions.

I have applied for AOS, and received the biometrics appointment a month later. After the biometrics appointment, how long does it take to get travel permit and EAD?
-
Thanks for sharing your details. Was it a month after acceptance into their system?

I have applied for Adjustment of Status, from California. Was wondering how long it takes to get the Biometrics Appointment notification.

I have applied for AOS with pending I-485. On travel permit application form I-131, I had put expected length of stay as 30 days. It looks like I may have to schedule my trip for 35 days. Is this a hard and fast rule, or 35 days is okay?

I have filed for AOS via marriage. My husband and I have an interview January 25th in San Francisco. He is a US Citizen. He recently started new job. We don't have a W2 for his job yet, is it okay to only take paystub and an employment offer letter to the interview?
