  1. "Jamie,

Follow the guidelines here in VJ. It tells you everything that you need and what to send in. I also used another site which gave me a list of items that I need for the Petition of Fiance. More information is always better. As for your fiance she will need to do a intent to marry and the G325 (make sure that this is the 4 pager and do not copy the first page because the bottoms are different). Her phone records and pictures are proof of a relationship and are good.

As for the job as long as you can show contiunious employment then you will be just fine."

Do you know if she has the option of taking her interview in Thai? She can speak English but she thinks she would be more comfortable speaking Thai. She talked to someone who went through the interview and they told her she had the option to use either or.

    Jamie,

When my fiancee went for an interview last October there were both Thai and US staffs presented at the interview. You should not worry much for the interview. Be sure to follow the guideline in VJ.

  2. Oh. Hmm....I got a touch on the 29th of March. Means nothing. Nothing changed. It's still at the Missouri Service Center. It hasn't been transferred to Vermont yet.

Mine was touched a couple time on 3/16, 3/18 and 3/19. On 3/30 the sevice center's name was changed from MSC to National Service Center without a date change. Today I just recieved the notification letter for an interview at Santa Ana office on 5/6.

I wish you getting a good news soon.

  3. Just got the great news that my fiancee (Nan) received her packet 3 in the mail. Does anyone with experience with US Embassy in Bangkok know how many weeks between returning the completed packet 3 and the interview date?

    Thanks...

My fiance's and her sons interview date was scheduled one month after the date I submitted the completed package 3 ( last week of Sept. 2006). After the interview we have to wait another 2 more weeks to get the K1 & K2 visa (due to the security name checks).

The interview was great. The interviewer was very nice. All you need to do is bring all the supportive documents with you and you should have no problem.

    Good Luck in the interview........csp

  4. Hey everyone!! I am planing on flying to Thailand when me fiance finally get's her K1 visa. All POE's I have ever been through have a line for "citizens/residents" and a line for "visitors". I would hate to get separated from her by having to go through separate lines. We will come through either SFO or LAX. What did others do when they arrived with their spouse? :help:

I have heard where the USC has accompanied his/her fiance(e) through the visitor line.

I accompanied my fiance thorugh the visitor line, (# 7 thru #10 - LAX).

  5. I sumitted all of my previous divorce decrees (2). My application just been approved.

I have no experience on this one. So wait for more experienced members to chime in.

But it sounds like having all of them wouldn't hurt. Granted, you have to be legally divorced from your first marriage to have a second, but...

    :star: Cass (bebop the great)

If you were previously married more than once, do you need a copy of your most recent divorce decree or a copy all previous divorce decrees ?
