  1. That makes no sense.

Let me explain. My friend filled out the I-129F for his fiancee by hand, since his handwriting is little sloppy USCIS typed up the address of the fiance incorrectly in the system so the packet never arrived to his fiancee after approval and consulate appointment. When he went to Infopass (because USCIS said they cannot change anything in their system nor see anything) they told him that they have address misspelled. So he had to go and correct it. So my point and my sense is that if you type it in, you have much clear application and thus preventing the USCIS office misreading what you actually wrote or not understanding if that's an "e" or "o". Hope this clarifies the issue.

Edit: They told him that misspelling could be "anybodies fault"

  2. Call them, I heard people having delays with getting their noa2 even lately in the mail.

Request to see if they sent it out and if they didn't ask them to. Confirm they have the correct address as well.

Will do thank you. Already waiting on their call back because thats where they keep on transferring me to

i am quite confused. You said you had filed K-1 visa application and had not received NOA1. Did you mean i-129f (fiancee petition) ?

Sorry, thats what i meant, i send a i-129F application and have not received a NOA1

  3. Hello fellow K-1'ers I have a little issue here, maybe someone have or had similar experience. I have filed completed k-1 visa application with proof, pictures and personal money order to USCIS Dallas PO BOX on July 5th. (Note: I did not send electronic confirmation for for email/text notifications) I checked the USPS tracking and it said it was delivered on July 8th. I called my bank to see if my money order was cashed and they said that it was cashed on the 12th of July. Today is August 8th, it's been a month since they received it. But I have not received my NOA1 yet in the mail. Today I called USCIS and after telling them what happened, they transfered me to automated call back line which it said that waiting time is 90 minutes, I left my phone, 2 hours later no one called. I called again and agent transfered me there again and when I input my number, they said that they already have me on call back and they will calm me back in 310 minutes??? What??? It's absurd. So not I'm tuck waiting on their phone call, I'll give them until tomorrow afternoon and call again. Did anyone have or had similar issues??? Can anyone advise what my next step should be? Thank you so much.
