I came here in year 2011 for the first time with my tourist visa to donate my kidney to my brother, then went back to my country.
In year 2012, I came here again and stayed with my brother. This time I have never left. I overstayed my tourist visa and worked illegally at the restaurant. I didn't know I could get the tax ID and could pay my tax even I worked illegally. So I have never paid any tax on my income from the restaurant.
In year 2014, I met my now husband at the restaurant I worked for. We developed our relationship until we got married in May 2016. I moved to stay with my now husband at the end of year 2014 and from that time onward I stopped working.
We are now preparing the documents to apply for my green card.
My questions are:
1. In the form should I declare myself as working from 2012-2014 even it's illegally?
2. Back in year 1990, my husband was convicted for growing marijuana and was in jail for 45 days. Is there going to be any bad effect on my AOS from his 26 years ago conviction?
