Finally got the GC. Interview was on 5/31 and GC arrived 7 days later. Glory be to our Lord Jesus-Christ. 

We brough a copy of our case and no lawyer. We brought our 2016 tax return and joint bank account info. Anything you have with your 2 names will help. 

The interview was very fast and simple and we brought our family album--she loved it. Our 2 kids were crying but she was very patient with us, and said she has 3 kids so she understands. 

She asked us where we met and why we decided to get married. When you are truthful there is nothing to worry about. Truth always triumph

May the Lord give you grace and shalom, and may you get your case approved and you card in the near future in the name of Jesus

Someone said that if married for more than 2 years. No interview and 10 year GC. I guess it depends on the office and officer. ?

Anyone adjusting from B1/B2? Is the interview mandatory? Married since 2012. Already rec'd A/P & EAD combo card . AOS is at RFIE rec'd since 8/31. MD is really behind ?

I am praying that you will get your card in less than the 2 weeks we had to wait.

I got offered a job (yay!!) but I don't have my card in hand as yet, just the approval notice. Has anyone been hired with just the approval? Is there anyway to get them to speed up sending me the card now that I have a job offer? I feel much more comfortable telling an employer that I have the actual card than just the approval.

Congrats! I got the approval notice too. Someone said here that the card was required by their employer to start the job. You should call USCIS to ask if they can speed up the process now that you have a job offer

Priority Date 8th July - Detroit.

Interview received for 3rd Nov - less than four months

Letter says "initial interview" Is this normal wording in the letter?

No progress on Employment Authorization or Advance Parole - 86 days over

It changed the same day. Card being produced to case approved within few hours, and in the evening, AP changed to case approved. AOS still RFIE rec'd since 9/3

EAD/AP both approved. No email notifications. EAD went from card is being produced to case approved.

Just received my wife's green card yesterday . I'm glad this part is over , now on with our life's and hopefully in two years I hope no interview and get the 10 year green card without an interview like this time . Hope everyone gets their green card soon . It can be stressful but hang in there❤️

Thank you. Yes i received the email notification yesterday, and case updated as well on USCIS case status website. Aren't day closed ob the weekend?

Dont be sad.. Youre not alone. We just need to comply right away. Too bad for me Ill be away from home this week for my hubby's birthday. I wont be able to know if my letter's already delivered at our house.

Check cashed 7/22. Received text/email notifications. I rec'd mine in 3 separate receipts. Waiting on the mail notification now. Application rec'd by uscis on 7/18

Same here.. Im still waiting.. My stat should be until August 3, 2016 only and when I called Uscis they keep telling me to call again and again and again! Its so frustrating! They said they couldnt find my name in their system!
