Great News! This am: "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice."
I also see that I did have a soft LUD on 17 MAY 2107, so my theory of them trying to tackle the One year Applications as priority seems close to the truth.
Great!! What a relief, huh!!! We both had to wait the year to be scheduled!! Let's us know when the interview would be:)

Interview date June 21st.

Congrats!!
Thank you, I still don't know when! The pdf is not uploaded on elis. I heard some interviews get scheduled then cancelled!! I'm still worried
-
I just got texts and emails that my case is updated. I checked my elis account and I'm finally scheduled for an interview. One full year exactly! of waiting ......Today I was going to court to file the writ of mandamus.

Nothing...the days just keep getting closer to the one year mark since application (27 more days) and no Interview in sight.
14 days for me, if I don't hear anything, I will submit the writing of mandamus to the court
-
Any updates ? I haven't received any interview notice yet. Ughhhh...
-
This is what I used, if you like to modify or add of course you can. Let me know if you decide to go this way. Also I cc'd other in-charge offices, make sure to send letters to all, certified mail.
-
I will for sure

I have sent USCIS a letter of intent for writ of Mandamus! I gave them 30 days to respond to me, if no response received, I'll be filing a writ of mandamus in federal district court for unreasonable delay ( one year mark). This is my last resort or I'll be keeping waiting forever for interview scheduling

Hey you all,
Any news on interview scheduling?? I am still impatiently waiting..ughh...don't know what to do anymore..
-
I already did contact the congresswoman here since December. Every time I follow up with her office, they tell me that uscis id giving them same answer of background check BS.
I'm so frustrated
-
So I called USCIS today and I talked to L2 officer, the first question she aske" had you n400 application been pending an interview over a year". I said it will be in may. She said then it's within normal processing time and if we need anything from you we will contact you by mail.
That's it!! Seriously!!????
This is crazy, just venting

Hey all, congrats to all who have been done with this process. And for all who are still waiting for interview scheduling , I'm still waiting too:(((
Any updates may filers??? I always ask myself " why me???"
-
No citations or tickets whatsoever...still delayed since May 10th ...it's sooooo frustrating to wait impatiently, especially that we don't know when to expect thus journey to end... I'm so sorry student79, but I don't think it's the reckless driving that's holding back your application. We will wait of course:)
-
Every time is different answer, it's either the field office is overloaded, or pending background check, or pending name check, or normal processing...you never get a straight answer. But for sure they use the background check " as the perfect excuse

Hi Zooropa,
I'm still waiting as well. PD May 10th, still no word..it's sooooo frustrating to see even august filers got done with their interviews. I really don't know what to do, I contacted the customer service, the L2 officers, the Senator, the congressman, nothing seems to move forward.

I just received my interview letter.I am scheduled for interview on Thursday,February 23rd at 8 am at Atlanta office
Great! Did you get it by mail or you received notifications?
-
Hello may filers.. I saw that so many of you got naturalized or at least got the interview scheduled. However, I am still waiting for my interview to be scheduled and it doesn't seem to be anytime soon:(. How many of you are still in the same boat? What to do?:((((

I contacted the senator office to check on my application and this is what uscis replied:
"Thank you for your inquiry of October 13, 2016 on behalf of your constituent, regarding her request for an update on her N-400 Application. Current processing time for Form N-400 is approximately 5 months. Currently, your constituent's application is in the process of resolving preprocessing checks and has not been sent to the Albuquerque Field Office for interview. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) can't anticipate when we will receive her file for interview.""
Does that mean it is still in background check???
-
I also talked to an officer today and he told me the same thing, that I'm in line for interview, he didn't give any dates. He said now it depends on the field office to schedule the interview.
I guess it's a common message they are giving now after biometrics are done, so basically it's it's a common sense that we will be in line for interview after fingerprinting, and therefore officers are informing anyone who calls the same thing.
-
Same here, I was hoping I would see the inline for interview update 1 month before 5th GC anniversary like several people had, but no luck...

I got a notice yesterday that the oath is scheduled (after 2 months of interview), would the pdf file show on ELIS account?
