He was told that he needed the Mom to do the DNA but I remember when I filed for my Dad who was added to my BC when I was 29, they only tested me and him. I don't know if that is because I was an adult.

We will try to get info on doing DNA test while he is in the US and the daughter is in Jamaica.

My husband came on a K1 and now we are bringing 2 of his 3 kids to follow. The 1 year is up in August. The 3rd child was living with him since she was 4 years old up until last year when he moved to the US. She is currently12. She now lives with his mother as her mother wants nothing to do with her. The issue is her birth certificate has another man listed as the father (he is nowhere to be found). She is my husbands child but her mother was trying to be spiteful by listing someone else. Can we file for her as my step child with someone else on the birth certificate? If not what can we do to rectify this situation?
