My fiancé arrived at the POE-San Francisco safely!! We have been so truly blessed to be back together again. The questions they asked at POE-San Francisco was: 1) what is the name of your petitioner? 2) When and where did we meet? and; 3) When did we start dating?; That's it! After, we got the passport stamped with the final 90 date. You all have truly been a blessing going through this journey. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you at the AOS filer thread.

Fiance just arrived last night!!! Can't put into words how happy we are!
Every wait is so worth it! Good luck to all and see you at the AOS forum!
POE: LAX
Consul just asked her one question, "So I think you're going to stay here for good, and for what reason?"
my Fiance answered, "I'm getting married"
:)
and consul said, "That's great, congratulations and welcome to America!"
Congrats!!! So happy to hear that. My fiancé leaves in a couple hours!!! Words can't even begin to describe how exciting it feels!

VISA IN HAND!!! 2Go contacted my fiancé through text and she picked it up Saturday afternoon. All thats left now is CFO and POE. Many blessing to all!!
-
We're really hoping and praying for it to be issued and ready for pick up next week. Our POE is 09/09/16, really praying.
More waiting... but I know it will all be worth it.
Will pray for that. Ours is just tentative Sept 20th and POE will be Detroit, MI. It will be worth it. We have waited for so long for this.
Yes!! The waiting process is painful. I'm sure everything will arrive this upcoming week!! POE is on 9/16 to give some cushion room time for the visa and CFO.

From what I have seen while monitoring Philippines approvals, the visa is ready at 2GO MOA on average 3-7 business days after interview date. If its been more than 10 business days since your interview and still no visa delivery, then I would call the embassy to ask whats the current issue status.
Doug in your case since it changed from READY back to AP and its been 8 business days since your interview, I suggest you or your fiance call the US embassy in Manila to request a status update and tell the rep your status changed from READY back to AP.
Has everyone been checking all the status sites?

Thanks Everyone for your wonderful feedback and advice!! Checking the CEAC website, we are now at "ISSUED" since August 31. Now its another waiting game before it arrives at 2GO.....

Congrats to all so far!!! Question to all the couples from the Philippines....How long does it typically take until the embassy sends the visa to the 2GO store?
My fiancé was approved last Thursday morning, so not including Thursday, the weekend and Monday (Philippines Holiday)..we are currently on Day 3 since the interview approval. We have been checking online (CEAC) and it notes that we are still on Administrative Processing with a status update since last Thursday (Aug 25). Thanks all for the advice

So happy!!! Can't even explain!!! Cheers!!!
Congrats to you and your fiancé!!! I'm glad she saw a familiar face at the consulate. It's really good knowing people who are going through the same/similar struggles
CONGRATS!!

Good news to share.....we were APPROVED at our consulate interview today!!!
Words can't described how happy we are right now. Its been truly a long process but it's worth it in the end. My fiancé noted that the US officer questions she had to answer was: 1) what was her finances (petitioners) name? 2) When and where did we meet? 3) When did I go here to the Philippines? 4) What is my occupation? and 5) What is her occupation? The Filipino officer questions were all legal documents such as: NBI, CENOMAR, divorce copies, where we met?, when was I divorced? Any kids? and that was it!!
Very easy process and everything was smooth sailing. Now we are onto the next steps: waiting to pickup the visa, CFO and purchasing plane tickets!!! I wish everyone the best and look forward to reading all of your amazing stories in this difficult process to be with our loved ones. Cheers!!

My fiance passed the medical.
She's now waiting for St. Luke's to release medical records.
SOOOOO CLOSE!!!! Next stop... Interview....
CONGRATS!!!! My fiancé just got notified today that she passed the medical as well
On to the interview next week!!! Best of luck to all of us!!

Wow, your fiance and mine have the same medical and interview date. Good luck to all of us!
:)
Here's what my fiance is bringing:
1. Passport
2. 1 photocopy of passport biographic data page
3. 2 copies of e-mail with case number / 2 copies of nvc letter
4. 2 copies of visa interview appointment confirmation
5. 1 copy of online registration form medical - St. Luke's
6. 1 original and 5 copies of immunization record
7. 2x2 passport size photos - white background - write complete name at the back of each photo
8. x-ray film, if available
This is really exciting and nervous at the same time, i really pray that everything will work well for all of us.
Yes!!! We have mixed feelings but positive. We are mostly excited but having those pre-interview jitters. My fiancé is also bringing a Medical Clearance from a previous surgery. She contacted St. Luke's and they recommended that if she had surgery before to bring a medical clearance. Maybe my fiancé will see your fiancé at the medical and/or interview!!! It would be comforting. Best of luck!!
I think it is all good! Awesome we got the same interview day! 08/25
Wow!! hopefully we are blessed to meet you and all those on VJ during the interview
Hi!
I went for my medical examination at Saint Luke's Extension Clinic on August 9-10. The guards at the entrance asked for the following:
1. Original Passport;
2. 1 Photocopy of passport biographic page, portrait view, not enlarged;
3. Letter from the NVC stating that your papers has been sent to the consulate (I don't have this, so I brought a printed screen shot of the NVC "case ready" status, accepted without problems);
4. 4 US Passport photos, name must be written at the back without smears;
5. Interview appointment confirmation letter ( If available);
6. Payment: PHP 11,300; and
7. SLEC online registration form original and photocopy.
Good luck!
Thanks for your experience on that!! It helps ease our nerves that we are not missing anything.

Hi All,
So my Fiance's medical is this Tuesday (her time). Both of us have a question about what documents to bring to St. Lukes.....we are bringing the following: embassy interview confirmation (2 copies), NOA2 and NVC letter with MNL number (2 copies), Printed SLEC registration (2 copies), DS-160 confirmation, 11,300 php fee, passport (2 photocopies), original passport, 2x2 passport photos (4 pictures), and some snacks and water for the wait.
Is there anything else that we are forgetting to bring? Thanks all for the assistance. These next 2 weeks will be the most exciting and nervous time for us with Medical, Interview and CFO!! Best of luck to everyone here and thank you for your advice

Hi all,
just a quick question. I'm shipping my Affidavit of Support and documents along with that....what is the best mail courier that is reliable and cost efficient? In my area (Northern California), I have USPS, FedEx and UPS. Any recommendations would really help. Thanks!!!
-
YAY!!! So I called this morning and was given the good news!! NVC was received yesterday afternoon and the MNL and ID # were provided (21 days)!!!
We are both extremely excited to be moving this process along......There are a lot of fees and budgeting but in the end, it is all worth it to be with the love of my life. I look forward to reading everyone's success and stories along this path we undertake. Many blessings to all!!

Does anyone know how long the NVC process takes? I know it takes about 2 week for the application to be mailed to NVC but how long is the actual NVC process take? I read in another site it can range between 1-4 weeks. Thanks for all the help!
-

Congrats on the marriage!!! Thats a good question!! On our end...we decided to use the original signature and name from the K-1 visa filing since that is the documented name from the start to keep it consistent. I can see a good reason of others putting their new last name but we probably won't do it. Only when it comes to making changes on SSN.
