    Hey guys!!!!! Im new on this forum, a friend recomended me to come visit you, see Im 23 years old and I live in Mexico, my boyfriend lives in Florida and we are planning to get married next year :dance: but we are not sure about what should we do, because we really dont have ANY idea!!!!!! Can someone tell me please what are we supposed to do??? We have like 1000 doubts about it!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! :help:

    How to get to Ciudad Juarez?

    Hi!

    My fiance and I went to CDJ, he went to El Paso airport and took a taxi straight to the hotel. They can do that. Also the way back, the taxi can take you from the hotel directly to El paso Airport. Taxis are expensive in CDJ.

    We stayed at Lucerna Hotel, it is near to the embassy, just a few blocks walking. Next to the Lucerna hotel is a Banamex where you are going to make the deposit for interview. This Lucerna Hotel is very nice and excelent service.

    This is very nice from you to support your fiance by being there with him. You can not go into the embassy

    for the interview but in front of the embassy there is an small place where you can stay, there are many people over there waiting for their families also.

    FINALLY, WE GOT OUR K1 VISA!!!

    My fiancee will be leaving Athens tomorrow on her way to JFK!!!! :-)

    NOTE: Notary must be from USA or USA Embassy in foreign country (that was our mistake/delay)

    Time to move to 485 forum!!!!

    :dance: YEEES!! FINALLY I MADE IT!! :dance::dance::dance:

    I AM WITH MY LOVE!!! WE ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME!

    I ARRIVED ON OCT-07, MY POE WAS GOOD. SLOW BUT IT WAS OK.

    At the time I arrived there were about 5 planes arriving at the same time at Dulles Airport, so the line for customs were way too looong, about 1:30 hours in the line. I was interviewed by the officer, who just saw and opened the misterious yellow envelope, he was a quiet man, not questions at all, he just instructed me to pick up my luggage and go to another room, where I waited about half an hour to be attended, and I was just given my passport with the I-94 stamped, not questions at all, just " go ahead, everything is ok" so I was like..... :blink: is that it? and the officer: yes :yes: that is it.

    So that was it, I did not have any question about my luggage (6 heavy suitcases) :o

    Then I went out and meet my love!! Yeess!! so sweet!! :luv::luv:

    Today I got my vaccines, it was fast and easy. I am doing my SSN next week.

    es vuelo directo de gdl? solo pregunto por si en caso hace escala como en Dallas o Houston. No seria malo. Es que a veces toman un poco mas tiempo para procesar y si hay poco tiempo entre vuelos se pone algo estresante.

    Yes, it is the same. My fiance received it first in US, scanned the complete package and sent everything to me by e-mail, anyhow you can find the forms here:

    So the only thing to be sent from your fiancee to you is the invitation letter (cover letter) and you are able to attend your medical exam and interview.

    Passport question

    found out today that a passport is required for the interview portion of the I-129f application.

    My fiancee does not have a passport.

    How difficult and how long does it take to get a passport in Mexico?

    Ok people, we need a little prayer vigil and positive thoughts to get CSC moving for all of those still waiting including:

    Hard to actually believe after (how many days? I lost track):

    This case has been approved. On September 6, 2006, an approval notice was mailed.

    Thanks to everyone for all of the continued support and assistance - I would not be in one piece without you guys! Gary you two MUST be next!!!

    I will get to work on finding a brand spanking new HAPPY avatar . . . we have a long way to go but at least we can get out of the CSC hellhole soon.

    As I understand it, those instructions are simply meant to control which bridges people use as a way to control the crowds crossing. If you don't intend to cross from CDJ to El Paso but instead plan to fly, these instructions do not apply. After all, there is nothing in the K1 that requires you to enter at a certain point.

    If you still feel unsure, your best bet is to contact the consulate at CDJ to clarify.

    At the bottom of this envelope it is mentioned: PRESENT YOUR VISA FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY IN THE MIGRATION OFFICES PASS THROUGH CORDOBA BRIDGE

    So I wonder if somebody else from Mexico got a similar note on their envelope and what did you do? :help:

    I am planning to fly from Guadalajara, but to cross provably at BWI airport. But is it a must that I should pass through Cordoba bridge walking?
