hi guys,
our 1-94 is going to expire in 18 days and ss department said its too late because they have to send some things to uscis. and by the time they get it , it will expire so we have to wait for the green card to get ssn. does this sound right? any ideas? my work says i need a ssn for my spouse to add to health plan for next yr. we got married 8 days ago.

so i am confused, my finance just called st lukes on the date it says to call and all the lady will say is to bring the passport and payment slip on sept 19th at 8am. but she didn't give the results and i dont know what to do from here. the interview is on the 23rd , does that mean i have to get 6 nights of hotel room in manilla for my fiancee? can my fiancee show up on the 22nd instead of the 19th? st lukes wont help us with any info and its so hard to get a hold of them.

thank you for that helpful info. i think it might be better to just go back to cebu after the interview and just have it mailed then. my fiancee will do the ceminar in cebu while waiting. but what is the cfo sticker. can we get that sticker in cebu as well?

we are currently waiting for the sputum culture results. so sept 15 is the date to call and get results. do they give them to you over the phone? and after the interview can my fiancee stay in manila and wait for the visa to be issued or will it take too many nights in a hotel to wait?

i have all the other docs they want me to bring, but cant find letter with case number. says if its emailed they want 2 copys.
we waited to long to apply for ssn.

my hr is really sure on there answer i even talked to the manager and told me that without ssn i have to wait till next enrollment when she has ssn. i work for southwest airlines and they are self insured under obama care. they said there policy is different than other companies and they dont have to. is there a law that forces them to? i only have 20 more days before i can add her. also i didnt know i can use the ead to get ssn, i thought i have to wait for green card.
