  1. This is how it look likes when i check the status of it. Though theres a change before it was nov 14 (date of our k1 interview) now its dec 28, date when they sent the appointment letter for crba. During the k1 interview the consul said my visa would be put on hold until i submit the crba which we recently got approved of. Also I think it would be ironic if they would get me a denial when theyve already approved us for he crba right? Without even DNA testing.  I mean that itself means we have established a genuine relationship with a child of our own so it really gonna be weird if they deny the fiance visa. Thats just what i thin

  2. Hey guys. Who among you here had been on a 221g and the passport was returned? Im just wondering why they returned mine during the interview but for others they did not. I remember the consul said my visa would be on hold until i pass my sons crba but im still worried. This is what they emailed me. Do you think my passport being returned means something else? :(

we just got the crba last dec 2.

  3. We had our fiance interview last nov. 14, 2016and were put on 221g for the crba of my son. We got him a visa and the consul said we had to get him a crba because he has claim for citizenship. Fast forward, dec 28, 2016 for a crba appointment jan.2, 2016 and thank God we  were approved without dna tests required. So my questions are

    1. When can i start tracking the crba of our son?

    2. Do I send them a photocopy of crba only?

    3. They returned my passport when I had the interview so should I send it back together with the crba?

please please i hope someone can answer me. Thank you so much!

  4. I was wondering if someone has the same situation like ours could shed some light. We had a k1 interview at the manila us em last nov 14, we should be good to go but the consul required us to get a crba for our 1 yo son. We honestly didnt know he would qualify to be a usc since his fathers name wasnt on the nso (he was in the us when i gave birth and wasnt able to sign the bc, and though its a big deal having the name of the father on the bc here in the ph i just trusted him coz i knew he was going to fulfill his responsibilities with or without papers) the consul was surprised and even said what are we guys doing, he said my son doesnt need a visa, he needs a crba and a blue passport. So they put my visa on hold until i get my sons crba. He had proceed to ACS at the second floor , gave me a paper with a check on the "usc may have met physical requirements"

    My questions are:

Does my fiancé meet the physical presence requirements in the us?

He went to the us 2002 his mom petitioned him as immigrant , he stayed there until 2011 then he got naturalized 2011, around 2012/2013 he went back to the philippines to study culinary thats when we knew each other, july 2014 hes back in the us to work until now. Does he pass the physical presence requirements or does he need to be in the us 5 yrs after he got naturalized as usc?

He has worked from 2014 up until today. He also had worked before but he wasnt a usc then. This is the only concern we have other requirements, we can prove no doubt.

In case we get denied of crba do we get denied of k1 visa too or do we have other options. I hope someone could help.

  8. Manila is a jungle (no offense meant manileños), cebu should be okay. Its got a little bit of everything. Good food, city life & ver nice beaches and not that expensive and crowded compared to manila. That should keep you busy if ever that person doesnt show up. Do not give her cash, i repeat do not give her cash lol. And dont fall into the "i need to bring my cuzin with me" line...
