I have a friend who is an immigration lawyer, he told me a while ago that receiving an RFIE (for my marriage certificate they already had -_-) on the AOS application wouldn't affect my EAD processing.

 

I just got EAD notification today of card production at day 102 from initial application.

 

Package sent: Feb 13th
Received: Feb 16th
NOA1 date: Feb 22nd
Biometrics: March 22nd
RFIE on AOS: March 31st
RFIE response received: April 25th
EAD service request: May 19th (Note: this request is still showing as having not been assigned for processing)
EAD "Card Production": May 26th

 

I'm so happy I started crying when I got the email notification. Not working has been so stressful; not only financially but I've been feeling almost depressed with nothing to do. I'm a nurse - it's in my blood to need to help people!

for my opinion it is still too early. if she started being nervous what should i do? my noa1 is 9th june still no approvel.

Though like I said before, I believe the earlier filing gives you priority. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but those late NOA1's put you at an advantage..in a way.

I guess they are still on end of may. Her received date is May 31. i checked earlier the filers with date of may 31 at uscis app and almost of the files were approved. And then i checked those who were received on june 1st but no approvals yet. Maybe just 1 or 2.

As they said... dont make decisions when youre angry, and dont make promises when youre happy. Being in a 6yr-ldr is a serious thing. You both worked hard to keep that relationship. But why it came to the point that he decided to petition you to be together already then suddenly he backed out...anyway follow you heart if it will make you happy... You are the one to decide for your self and for your future.
