I have the same problem too. My passport and gc have different last name. I bought a plane ticket for this coming august and I accidentally use the last name from my gc. now my husband and I doesn't know what to do or if they will allow me to go out of country. Does anybody know what is the process of changing name on the passport? I really need to change my last name on my passport just in case they won't allow me to travel having two different family name. 🤦‍♀️ Any idea will help thank you.

same I applied at CSC. did you try to check your case om the uscis website? my receipt number is not working.

Hi everyone. does anyone knows how long does it take to get a notice for the biometric. I applied for I-175 and received the 18months extension but until now I am still waiting for the biometric. Also,  I have the receipt number but eveytime I check it online it keep saying invalid receipt number. Does anyone has the same problem like mine? Any comment would be helpful. Thank you guys

You are right on track with the rest of us that mailed out AOS in June.

I mailed out the AOS paper work with tracking on June 17th, it arrived at the Chicago Lockbox on June 20th, and we got our text message notifications that our case was accepted on July 4th. Today, July 8th we received the NOA1 notices for the AOS, AP and EAD in the mail.

The I-485 AOS notice tells you that the next step is that USCIS will schedule a biometrics appointment for you. You will receive the Biometrics appointment by mail with the specific time and place where you will have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken.

hi about this one, im done with my biometric last july 27,2016. So until when do i ned to wait for the next mail? Does it take so long to reserve the new mail for interview?

Can anyone help me what to do next after sending my AOS to USCIS. i already recieved a message from USCIS but it only say's they already accepted and routed my case to the USCIS National Benifits Center for processing, I didnt recieve any mail for biometrics.

Hi pochemuchka, I'm just gonna ask about the requirements needed for AOS. Me and my husband just got married last June 16,2016 and I dont have a lot of ideas about what are other files needed for applying AOS. I'm a K1 visa holder too just like you. Hope you can help me. Thank you.
